Premier League Gameweek 37

I'm assuming there's some sort of concussion check?

Romero is one of the most reckless cnuts I have seen on a football pitch, and he should feck off

Shades of Rojo. Anyway can we talk about Man City players immediately crowding the ref all the time? Nothing gets done about it despite the fact they said it was meant to be stopping.

Although completely different, I'm sure a lot of scousers said the same about our titles.

People on here seem to think the next generation will have the same context as them but in reality, give it another year and City will be seen as the new Manchester United of the PL.
That’s exactly it. We will become less and less relevant. This will hurt us in the long term.

It already is
Indeed.

Either way, at some point – be it on Tuesday or the following Sunday – the strong likelihood is that City will be toasting another title, a sixth title in seven seasons, the sort of dynastic dominance English football fans have always liked to deride in other countries. Perhaps this is the true farmers’ league now: a league that was bought up and cultivated, and is now being harvested at leisure.

The outcome of the Premier League’s 115 charges against City remains some distant paradoxical point on the horizon: never actually getting closer, however much time passes. And in any case, the ultimate innocence or guilt of City is only really of tangential relevance here. The broader picture is that dominance on this scale, whether earned legally or illegally, whether earned through the patronage of a state or a mastery of regulatory fine print, comes with a cost to the spectacle as a whole.

Perhaps then the bewilderment about the title race is the sort that becomes inevitable when a league begins to revolve so thoroughly around one club. This is City’s universe now, and even when you push at the walls it is never entirely clear how much of it is real and how much projection.

Romero is far, far too reckless and over-zealous. His lack of composure will stop him ever reaching the level of the top centre backs in the league, would even place him below Van de Ven.

Then that is not great for the product.

No replays at all.
But looked like a red to me. People can argue Romero had the right to go for the ball but ref also has the right to punish a player being reckless and endangering an opponent

Spurs have shown some pretty good sharp passing going forward tonight

Put the game on, City scored a minute later, and I've seen perhaps 90 seconds of football since.

Boooo he's not even seriously injured or concussed ! Fecking Spurs fans... :wenger:

was weird that whole time they showed zero replays. Wasnt like it was some earth cringing moment that would make people vomit. Weird to not show a single replay
Edit: they finally did wasnt really super horrible tbh.

Why are city players such babies. Your winning. Still getting paid thousands. Respect the managers choice
