Premier League Gameweek 37

A bit earlier than I'd have liked. The next 35 minutes are going to feel like an age.

But it would be wonderful if it's Rafa, of all people, who pisses on Liverpool's title challenge.

Now would be a good time to sub Sturridge off for Shaqiri or Chamberlain, but he’ll wait at least another 10 minutes.

Mustang Sally just got busted out. Many middle aged men started girating near me.

I’ve moved further down the bar.

Are you in the Pittodrie Bar by any chance? I used to live in the block across the road. Saturday night Karaoke was always audible in my flat. Ring Of Fire was a common occurrence. Usually more than once per night.

Anyone remember the season with the slip, where Gerrard completely lost his head and was shooting from anywhere? I hope that happens today, hopefully Everton sell Rondon shirts too like they did Barca scarves!

GG no re.

Not if there’s a clear advantage & the ref allows play to continue. Now, if there is an injury, you are correct, pull it back, but if there is an advantage to be played, play should go on. The dilemma then is if the ref is competent & confident enough to administer the retro sending off.

But then likewise even if it's a yellow card and the other team ends up scoring, the offender is booked. Would surely be the same for a sending off offence.

Just when you think Shelvey couldn’t look anymore like Voldemort, he covers his nose.

Certainly. Each phase of play, the play with the infraction & the subsequent play through advantage, is its own entity & needs to be administered properly.

Christ, I think I just jinxed this fecking game by using the term ‘phase of play.’ I just remembered the asshat on RAWK who goes by the same name & writes voluminously & nauseatingly on football.

The Foundry. Holborn St.

Official Aberdeen FC pub. Great pub for sport, I’ve bumped into the ultras a few times. Interesting guys. Likely not the kind to girate to mustang sally.

Never been to the Pitoddrie Bar though

I have great respect and admiration for United fans who manage to watch Liverpool every week knowing what's coming.

This is so tense but we all know City are winning their last two any way.

Rafa and Suarez playing important roles in ending Liverpool’s season would be too good to be true.

Liverpool to score 90+7 and celebrate 10x harder than United in the Nou Camp only for City to spank Brighton and Leicester. Beautiful.
