Premier League Gameweek 36

Fckin both teams have just had their keeper come to the edge of the box and claim the ball to kill an opposing attack

Newcastle coming out quick and really stepping onto Brighton so they can't play....showing a good spirit knowing how important this match is for the top 4

Brighton throwing the game away. How can you rest Mac allister for a game like this when they've got Southampton on Sunday. It's nuts.

Just noticed Newcastle can confirm top 4 on Monday if they beat woeful Leicester and win tonight.

That’ll just leave us….

We can confirm it this day next week if we beat already safe Bournemouth and woeful Chelsea

At least some consistency in terms of the one Weghorst didn't get, but what's the difference between that one and the one Kane got by VAR intervention?

Edit: Apart from Kane kicking the ball out of play and Wilson's ball still being in play, that is?

Edit 2: Seems like everyone's calling it a dive, I probably need to see it again but it looked like there was contact to me?

Diving is no risk at all. If you're not getting punished you might as well dive, hope there's some sort of contacy that cons the ref and likelihood is that var dont over turn it

That's why people dive. It's risk-free. They checked it, no penalty and then no punishment for the dive.

Then refs talk about wanting to be respected more. Spineless twats.

There’s not a “free foul” law in the game, so why do players claim it’s their first foul when booked?

Newcastle seem to have adapted Liverpools extremely energy approach but with less quality and way more kick and rush.

Newcastle with deserved lead so far. They haven’t let Brighton play their game at all.

What are Brighton even "resting" players for, it's only a couple of weeks until the end of the season?!
Next game is Southampton, already relegated Southampton. Then City next Wednesday. As has been said if they can't cope with two games a week European football is not for them.
