Premier League Gameweek 35-37 + FA Cup semis

Tricky penalty call that but think that's the right decision
Not sure it was at all. Jesus stood on his leg and then dropped to the floor, he wasn’t tripped or kicked. Correct decision.

Wolves lead. Means we have to be fault free against Palace and West Ham. Don't wanna get in a scenario where a Wolves draw at Chelsea means they both go through and we HAVE to win at Leicester.

You're not supposed to lose your best players for 80% of the season though. How often did United lose Ronaldo or Giggs or Ferdinand to long term injuries? It's not something you're supposed to deal with.

Do you go into every season assuming you're going to lose one of your best players to a serious injury for most of it?

We lost ferdinand to a season long ban..

Giggs has had a litany of hamstring injuries throughout his career.

Of course you're not supposed to lose players to injuries. But thats what happened to citeh and ourselves this year. Hence why you were given a much easier run to the title.

Traore breaks lines like Man Utd Tuilagi. Apparently I’m not allowed to write his first name on this forum!
Exquisite finish from Jimenez that is the dream contact.

Well it certainly wasn’t a “clear and obvious” error which VAR states it has to have been to be overturned. Despite the fact “clear and obvious” errors don’t apply to offside for example. It’s black or white and as accurate as it can be for offside.

It’s either a penalty or it’s not. It’s either a red card or it’s not. It’s either handball or it’s not. Clear and obvious is such a counterproductive way of doing VAR. Just make the right effing call. That’s what you’re there for VAR.

jimenez yes!

Shaping up to be quite an exciting end of season now.

wolves will have their eyes on that chelski match.

Man Utd Tuilagi

(I know it’s the forum that changes it automatically, but still made me chuckle)

Wolves are probably finishing above us unless we bounce back strong. What a shit end to the season that'd be.

I'm sure City would've picked up more points with Laporte but I think it's fairly far fetched to suggest United would've competed for the title if you hadn't had any injuries. Ferdinand was banned, that's not an injury.

Tbh considering City's resources, losing Laporte isn't a fair excuse either.

It’s all well and good wanting Wolves to win to keep them motivated for Chelsea but that’s only a good thing if we also win are remaining games. Which at this point is far from certain, they could end up taking our spot.

Because we conceded a last minute equaliser, we’re now failing to win 2 of our last 3..?

As it stand
3. Chelsea ...... 63 pts +15 GD
4. Leicester C. 59 pts + 29 GD (-1 game)
5. Man. United 59 pts + 26 GD (-1game)
6. Wolves ....... 58 pts + 12 GD

Weird isn’t it, Bournemouth on another day could have beaten city here. Why on earth have they done so badly all year?
