Premier League Gameweek 35-37 + FA Cup semis

Commentator just said that Wolves would be bottom of the league if you would only count first halves. What's the deal with them starting so bad in matches?

Pickford has to be one of the worst in the league for claiming balls into the box. Every match there seems to be an easy catch that he drops or that squeezes through his fingers

I think they are just happy to play a reserved game in the 1st half and then brings the likes of Traore on in the 2nd to go for it.

Pickford does atleast one of them a game it's insane.

What are folks thoughts on Digne?

He is our best player alongside Richarlison.

who do you think is better between Fred and Neves? I love the way neves generates speed behind his pass without any backlift.

Jiminez is also a class player. good control of the ball and very tall.

They take few risks and play very defensive to start with. Using Traore and more attacking play is when they score more often in the second half.

Everton have spent all this money and dont have good control of the ball. They cant string together any good passes without eventually longballing it.

Exactly the same as the Bruno one. Definite pen according to the commentators this time

Isn't that what Fernandes did? Nobody debating this one

Almost a carbon copy of Bruno pen and this one is definitely a penalty apparently.

I assume there'll be huge controversy about that and they'll show replays all game long.

Literally any sort of even minimal contact is a penalty now....Game is dying unless the rules changes for next season

Just like Bruno's which was never a penalty either

Do you have his defensive stats too?

I don't have them on me but they're at a 'good' level for a full back. The stats also suggest he's prone to fouling people (as was just shown in that penalty) but he wins a lot of aerial duels and his tackling percentage was higher than AWB the last time I checked.

It's funny as a lot of Everton fans thought he was having a poor season - myself included before lockdown but he's been generally pretty good aside from that penalty foul just there.

I don't think there is many, if any full backs now that excel at everything, they'll always favour one over the other. The best ones are able to be excellent in one and then at least 'good' in the other.

Can't wait for Dermot Gallagher's assessment on ref watch tomorrow.
He was adamant that Bruno's wasn't a penalty.

Yep it’s becoming a joke.

Cheap penalties will start becoming the deciding factor in many games

I hope Everton come back in the 2nd half, the Europa League would be a better watch with Sheffield United in it.

Wolves are diabolical to watch, and will be loaing Adama Traore in the summer anyways.

Bruno apparently invited contact but Podence doesn't - that is their justification for pen or no pen. Doesn't matter if it's invited or not, a foul is a foul.

Where do we think Traore will go if he goes?

Carragher is alright as an analyst on MNF but he's bloody painful as a commentator.

He's come in this morning with what he feels is a genius and unfathomable piece of insight (in that Sigurddsson and Davies might not be the most abrasive of midfields), and he has narrated the entire game to suit his own assumed brilliance.
