Premier League Gameweek 34 (which is not the same as gameweek 35)

He's awful. Scores a few tap in goals and misses three times as many. Also makes largely terrible decisions.

Glad you bought him to be honest.
I think he’s been one of our better players despite learning a new role as a CF.

Liverpool finishing 5th would be great....6th would be better as they would play in the conference league although i'm sure Klopp would treat that like the mickey mouse cup and play a bunch of kids so Europa would be nice...thursday/sunday would do them well

now...how the fuk did Jota not get a red and then he stays on the pitch to score the winning goal?

Very unlikely that 6th is conference league. It would require United to drop to 6th in the league and lose the FA cup final. The latter is quite possible, but not sure we will finish 6th

The Jota red card and Skipp red card arguments are amusing.

Yep, you could absolutely argue that Skipp could have gone for the challenge on Diaz.

But… there are any amount of similar challenges this season that have gone unpunished. We highlighted so many of them after Casemiro’s second red.

There isn’t one example of landing your studs on someone’s head and not getting a red this season, because it’s as clear a red as you’ll see.

Any Liverpool fan defending the Jota challenge because of the Skipp one is delusional

You're easily pleased then. Think you're a bit blinded because he got two against us.
It’s not just that game. It’s his overall play and contributions up top since the Everton game at home. Probably our best attacker overall since he signed.

How are you allowed to stud someone's head and for it to not be a red card? He kicked shoulder height for fecks sake.

We can't preach about two footed challenges and potential leg breaks when Skipp could easily have been blinded by a boot in the face? Makes the whole thing a complete farce really.

Also, side note: Spurs

Klopp reckons the referee was against them... what a cnut that bloke is.

Doesn't give a nailed on penalty or clear red card against them... hardly hates them does he?

true....wiht United and City both in the FA Cup final and both looking likely to qualify in the top 4 that would push another spot into the Europa League for 5th and 6th.

Gakpo is good! It’s Darwin that’s the disaster! Massive fee and they go to pieces when he comes on.

That’s genuinely mental if true. Was it for us as well? Van Persie?
Not true, I remember Mahrez missing a last minute penalty for Man City against Liverpool 3 or 4 years ago at Anfield, I don't know the last time Liverpool conceded a penalty at Anfield but definitely not as long as 10 years.
I was taking the piss fellas, although the fact none of us can actually remember when it last was means it might actually have been 10 years

I 99% believed you as well, it wouldn’t be that surprising

Sure Burnley got one 1-2nseasons ago when Allison brought down their striker

Biggest game in recent memory for both teams. Everton have Brighton and City next and they could be toast by the time they get to Wolves.

Leicester have Liverpool and Newcastle in their next 3. This is a massive game!

Think Leicester will win tonight, 2-0. I know they've been largely shit this season, but looking at those teams Leicester have so much more quality. No Iheanacho is a bit of a blow for them though.

This does seem like a Vardy game, even at 36. How many times has he been decisive for Leicester in big games.

I think this one is written for him.

I know it's not possible, but I kinda want the bottom 6 (West Ham, Leeds, Forest, Everton, Leicester, Southampton) to all go down. Like a relegate-one-get-one-free sort of deal.

hoping for a leicester win. Get everton down there even further. Just wish lampard had enough time to lead chelsea down there to join them. Imagine getting two squads relegated in one season.

Expecting the likes of Maddison, Barnes, Tielemans and Vardy to get them out of it. Got a lot more quality than Everton on their day.

Sorry Alan - how is a handball capable of being described as: “not like him”?

The threshold for penalties in games not involving United isn't very high.
