Premier League Gameweek 34-35

So they accept it came off a city player, but it wasn’t handball and you’re not having the corner, so carry on and take the goal kick?

cool.
It's ridiculous, what is the point of VAR if it cannot correct that obvious wrong.

Ref "no corner"
VAR "hit the hand, but not deliberate"
Ref "wtf shall I give now ?"

Stonewall penalty when you consider some of the ones that have been given in recent years.

The BBC comm saying it's an interesting one.. if it was us, this would be a scandal for 3 years.

How are they not at least going to the screen for that?

So now var is making shit up that we can see clearly. Not contesting the pen…can see why they wouldn’t give it. But they must have at least acknowledged it was a corner. Mental

Wonder how the officials failed to give the corner and that could easily be a penalty Grealish moves his arm to the ball.

Looked a clear handball to be honest. The motion of the arm was towards the ball, either intentionally or unnaturally, but arm to ball was clear.

Chelsea won’t get a better chance City have been shite

Been a long time since I’ve seen so many of their players have a stinker

Star jumps with arms out and then moves his arm towards the ball to connect with it.

Why is the referee not sent to the monitor there? He clearly hasn’t seen it, as he has given a goal kick. Decision should be with him as to whether it’s deliberate or not.

Should be a penalty, would have been given if it was one of our players...
also to not then give a corner is absolutely stupid.

He makes the wall 2 ft bigger by sticking his arm in the gap. It's the clearest of pens.

Even if VAR refused to give the clear handball, it was obvious in real time the ball took a deflection.

Well, that's a pen as well or at least a foul anywhere else on the pitch

If that was casemiro who handled it would've been a pen.

And a red card.
