Premier League Gameweek 34-35

Maybe, writing Liverpool off for the title was a tad premature. Knowing they face hapless Fulham and Everton next.

2 more yellow cards this season and Palinha beats the all-time record

Glad we didn't have to see if that was a penalty or not. I am guessing it wouldn't have been given.

Iwobi has been a frustrating player his whole career. Too many times he just loses focus.

This when we needed a little bit of lines corruption. Useless VAR once again...

Been a top class game for the neutral and the nail in the coffin for Ten Hag.

This might convert me against VAR if Coventry lose now :mad::mad:

Football had won today...

Can't tell which side is playing in the championship

Watched ET and thought Coventry did really well. Probably better as a spectacle if United play City. Coventry would get turned over.

Wow...as much as it would have been a great story to see Coventry in the final it would have been handing City another cup.

Utd should have cruised it. Could script it better I guess...

Coventry had no chance in the final so better Utd go through to at least give City a game.

Jeez that late winner would’ve been the moment of the season, brilliant showing from Coventry

When's the final ?

So I'll know the get off the fecking grid and disconnect from all media

Decent win and performance against Fulham. Needed that considering the run we were on. Not convinced we’ll win it but we’re up there.

If the Glazers had to pay their own and opposing fans damages for all the shitshows and robberies, they have committed, the whole club would be for sale.

It was a bit cringe seeing Onana pumping his fists as if he won the World Cup after that.
There’s no need to be jealous just because your club can’t make it to finals. :D

Our win has really upset rival fans, there are loads on Twitter crying about Coventry's goal being disallowed for offside.

I’ve heard several pundits questioning the lines already. Pathetic.

It looked off from the TV replay.

Think people are just bored by it being a Manchester final two years running. You want a bit of variety as we had in the 80s and 90s. Really don't think it will be anywhere near as close as last year either.

That’s fair enough, but it just seems silly when the penalty decision was far more contentious, but doesn’t appear to be a talking point.

United were bad today. There’s no need to look for a nonexistent dodgy decision here.

The pen decision wasn't remotely as dramatic as the offside goal. If the timing of them had been reversed, it would be the talking point.
Fair. But which was a worse decision? I would suggest if you reversed the two situations, and United had scored the late offside goal, the United non-penalty would be a bigger talking point.

I mean the offside goal was offside, there's no talking point to it as far as I'm concerned. It's gutting for Coventry (given the timing and how close it was) but it was undeniably offside.

The handball one? I have no idea what is or isn't handball anymore.

Conversely, Chelsea should 100% have had a penalty yesterday. Reffing is in the gutter at the moment.

The current rule is that the on-field ref has a guess, and VAR confirms that decision whether it's right or not.
