Premier League Gameweek 34-35

Am I the only one that thinks that playing out from the back has just gone too far and is a completely pointless risk about 50-60% of the time? Most teams end up hoofing it anyway.

It's when they pass it around the back 4 under increasing pressure, then are forced to pass to the keeper. Who then smashes it aimlessly upfield and they lose the ball. That's what gets me.

Bunch of soft cnuts this Arsenal lot they really are.
You are really scraping the bottom of the barrel aren't you, not even the usual insults you come out with 'xyz rolled over for them'

Give over, every feint touch and your lads are down like a sack of shit as if they'd been chinned by Mike Tyson. It's pathetic.

I mean I agree with your point as I am personally quite tired of Saka and his pointless diving, does more damage then good.

Being the upstanding poster you are, I am sure I will also find you smashing Bruno and the numerous softies in your team as well good sir

Harsh on Chelsea as it was for us vs Real during the week. Better team out.

I'd be furious if that Grealish hand ball wasn't given for us.

Yep and that handball non-decision was disgraceful.

It feels like this game has been 3 hours long. It’s been a bad week for the PL

Sick of it. If you don’t have the players who can do it properly don’t bother.

Just looking at the table now and without deductions we would just need one more win and we would be safe. :(

Why would it be anything to do with the scouse?

Half the clubs in Europe do a version of it. Most of them before Liverpool did.
Cos it’s all the Scouse sing these days and Arsenal didn’t start singing it until recently, I didn’t say they invented it but they just started singing it seemingly out of nowhere

I think we were the first English side to start it in 2018. Arsenal and Villa made up their own versions recently.

I know there’s another game beforehand but how are you feeling about Wednesday?

Don't really care about it. We have Forest, Brentford, Luton and Sheffield United in our last 6 games. All I care about is winning those. If we do we are safe. We could lose 20-0 to you if we win those.

Is Carragher right about what he said there, Dyche isn’t liked by Everton fans compared to their relationship with Lampard @SilentWitness

Yes and no. I think it comes down to context and perspectives. I think after Benitez, anyone who came in would have been seen as top notch because we hated him. Lampard did bring good vibes and always comes across well in the media and to fans so it helps. With Dyche I think a lot of people have lost perspective due to the continued negativity and animosity at the club. He plays a brand of football that isn't fun, he has a management style and press conference style which isn't appealing at times to fans if he's at your club etc. but when you put it into context and perspectives he's done overall a decent job. I think what's poor now is that he has gone on runs which got Lampard/Benitez sacked. The problem with sacking him is who would do a better job? It's very hard to say who could as without deductions we would only need one win to be safe.

Overall I personally think he's done a decent job, he's got very big lows but his highs have helped us tick along still. I think if he keeps us up he deserves to stay and another window to see if he can push us forward a bit. Ultimately right now he's got a squad with some good players mixed in with a bunch of average and ageing ones. It's also very thin and being depleted each window because the club is fecked. I really do struggle to think of anyone who can come in and do a much better job.

@Dirty Schwein what's your preference for the Forest vs Everton game? Must be difficult on the back of yesterday but feels like maybe a draw is the best result for Luton. Both teams would creep ahead but both would within touching distance.

Ideally draw. If not then Forrest because we play Everton soon so it will be in our hands. Plus forest still have Sheffield which is a guaranteed 3 points.

Ffs, just realised Everton also have Sheffield.

There has been so much to like about Luton, it's a shame they're not 3 or 4 points better off. That defeat yesterday was devastating, hard to see any of the bottom 3 staying up regardless of what happens here

At least we’ve picked the best attacking side available.

Sels
Williams - Niakhate- Murillo - Aina
Dominguez - Danilo
Reyna - MGW - CHO
Woods

Hopefully Elanga is over his knock and we can get 20min out of him late in the game?

It looks like shit, can’t be arsed Forest has turned up again. That was a dreadful goal to concede.
