Premier League Gameweek 34-35

Jackson looks like a championship striker.

Runs fast. That's about it.

Can Palmer play upfront?

That would mean Enzo more upfront, but this would mean neither of them receiving the ball properly. Putting Enzo closer to their net has allowed Palmer to receive more clean balls. The thing is that with both being further from the rivals area, their balls end at the mercy of what their forward partners do with those passes.

Listening to Jenas reminds me of how Eni Aluko claimed people are racist or sexist because they said she’s clueless.

Ignoring the fact male pundits also get their fair amount of grief because they’re just…awful. Jenas and Owen prime examples of that.
Tbf, she might have a point. Alex Scott gets similar treatment. A lot of men feel insecure having women on their screen talking about football. Maybe the racial factor turns it up a notch also for the gammons.

How can Oliver not see this and how can VAR not say that’s a clear error?

By definition, it’s an error because he gave a goal kick when it hit Grealish. Then it hits his arm so they have to send him to the screen to look at it?

VAR is ruining/determining football matches and Oliver shouldn’t be allowed to ref a kids game but definitely not a City game given the clear UAE conflict.

“Errors”

Besides costing more, is there any reason playing Grealish over Doku?

Im not sure how Oliver is even allowed to ref them. It’s scandalous he gets paid by their owners. He didn’t send off kovacic earlier in the season and also didn’t give that last minute pen to Pool. Also gave them that rank penalty versus us I think. City would be fecked this season without him.

Almost certain one of the Chelsea subs makes a braindead decision and City score from a pen/free kick.

Chelsea, apart from Palmer, just look like a squad with room temperature IQ, football-wise and in general.
