Premier League Gameweek 32-33

Looking at the fixtures left yeah I don't think Arsenal wins the title if they beat City. Think they'll at most draw Newcastle and that would be that, giving City the advantage anyway. No chance they beat City today anyway.

I hope we change something up at the back but I can't see anything other than Zinchenko, Gabriel, Holding, White

We need huge performances from Holding, Partey and Odegaard along with our wingers being on good form.

Expecting the worst but hoping for the best.

I think Arsenal can nick a draw later, but if pushed would have City 2-0.

Also fancy West Ham to take points, possibly 3 v Liverpool.

Feel like City will win this comfortably. Not necessarily a big scoreline, but without it really being in doubt. They are performing at a 100%, while Arsenal are struggling at the moment, and missing a key player in Saliba with a massive drop-off in quality to Holding. On top of that, City have the killer mentality that Arsenal just doesn't have. And let's not forget that City have already beaten Arsenal twice this season without much difficulty.

City 2 - 0 Arsenal

I think City will score early, first 20 minutes or so and that will set the tone for the game. Can see them winning 2 or 3-0, I don't expect it to be particularly close.

If Arsenal win, they win the title. If City win they win the title and if it's a draw, it's not over but City are big favourites. Should be a cracking match, looking forward to it.

Exciting game this, come on Arsenal! Dont give me the chance to laugh at you. :D

No chance in hell do West Ham take anything. They are now relatively safe in the league and the mentality of the team and the manager is to go and enjoy a nice whipping by Liverpool for 90 minutes.

City won't win their remaining games, so a draw would be an acceptable result for Arsenal. Even a loss would be ok. GD can be a deciding factor and Arsenal have more rest between games. Just hope City will get lots of (minor) injuries the upcoming games.

I don't think a loss would be ok for Arsenal. City may not win all their remaining games but with the form Arsenal are in, they probably won't either. They haven't won since 1 April.

If Arsenal lose to City and Newcastle and win the rest (vs Chelsea, Brighton, Forest & Wolves), they'll end the season with 87 points. If City win their home matches (vs West Ham, Leeds, Chelsea) and draw all of their away games (Fulham, Everton, Brighton, Brentford), they'll reach 86. Win one of them and it's 88. I'd say Arsenal need at least a draw tonight.

I think Arsenal can win their remaining games. Their attack always score goals. The defence is their achilles heel. They really need to sort out their defence. A draw and it's in their own hands. An Arsenal win today and I believe they have the bottle to go all the way.

How is a loss OK for Arsenal  ? Their next three games are Chelsea (yes, rotten form but still a London derby), Brighton at home and Newcastle away. I wouldn't rule out the possibility of them not winning any of those games. If City win tonight, they could go four points clear with all the momentum, a better goal difference and the easier schedule.

If they draw tonight they can reach a maximum of 91 points. With that draw and City winning the rest they’ll finish with 92 points.

Exactly. I’d also argue that it’s City’s advantage that they’re facing Brighton (and Brentford to an extent) in the last two rounds when those teams might have nothing to play for (in terms of having their final league position decided before kick-offs).

Yeah I would say it's borderline an absolute must win for them.

On paper CIty win easily but football doesn't work that way, it's what makes it such a great game. I'm thinking Arsenal win later based on nothing but a feeling.

Yep. If they draw, they can still hold on to the fact that is better to have points on the board than games in hand, and that City will have to dedicate energy and focus to the Champions League. But even then I just can't see Arsenal winning the rest of their games anyway.

I think Arsenal will completely fold. City have been here many times before, but for Arsenal the pressure will get to them. 4-1 or 3-1 City. I hope I'm wrong.

Arsenal are going to get their Arse handed to them tonight. Depressing that City get hands on their first trophy of treble tonight.

If they’d got Caicedo it’d be over by now.

If they’d got Licha, maybe.

Don’t see anything other than a comfortable City victory. Hoping Arsenal smash them though.Let’s hope all those past team huddles pay off today.

Wish I could enjoy games like tonight and not have to worry about our games. :(

Like I said recently in the Chelsea thread, their line ups are just a random selection of players these days. I think Lampard draws them out of a hat.
Nothing random about that, looks like he's going back to what works for him, ie his Derby days

Yeah. Tonight's scoreline will be devastating to Arsenal. I can see them picking 4 points from their next 3 games as a result. It's City's title to lose.
