Premier League Gameweek 32-33

Arsenal fans can sing all they want but the reality that was a horrible result for them tonight. 2pts dropped in a game they should be winning. Can't afford to drop points in games like this at this stage of the season
They threw it away at Liverpool and West Ham. Win those and would likely have won tonight as well. They tensed up.

Ref did everything to give them that fourth goal and they cocked it up, anymore than 10minutes extra time and we'd be going to investigation territory
Except give a penalty unfortunately

8 minutes of stoppage time because they were losing, needs to be investigated

Utterly useless result for Arsenal. The draw really does nothing for them.

Doesnt matter how dramatic the comeback was its a shit result at home to Southampton.

You just cant see City not taking advantage of this.

Why do they continually keep saying it's in their hands.... I mean it kind of is, but I'd prefer City's hands

What a game. Horrible result for us, but I'll take the draw considering we gifted them goals and defensively look terrible right now. Title's gone.
It’s not. You have to do the business at the Etihad. Tough ask but still scope for belief.

I’m not really arsed who won tonight - but 15 minutes of injury time in that game is very suspicious. Other than Bednarek, who was down for 2-3 mins, I can’t remember a stoppage of note. It was a standard 4 minutes max

City a team that doesn’t need any help gets it anyway, they’ll stuff Arsenal next week.

I despise those plastic, fraudulent cnuts with a passion but the treble is seriously on.

Pray Madrid can find some of their usual CL greatness but Arsenal have no chance for League now, full blown bottled it.

9..44 plus 7 in the first half so 16.44mins questions have to the asked. Why only for arsenal when they are in trouble.

That's it over and done with. 3 draws on the bounce at a crucial time of the year. 3 points from a possible 9. Can't be dropping points like that if you're trying to win the league against a ruthless side like City.

The form we're in and our defence very shaky, Haaland and co will have a field day. And we have a poor record against them.

Definitely feels like a narrative from the officials. I’ve seen multiple other games that have deserved more extra minutes than that game warranted

This is all too similar like the 11/12 season...City have the games in hand and still have a head to head PL match against their direct title rival....and it's not looking good for their rival (Le Arse).

They have gone from “can afford to lose at the Emptyhad” to “need a draw there” to “have to win at the Emptyhad” within a space of 2 week.

That was the kind of injury time that should be standard. Bazunu’s timewasting was ridiculous.

You're not out of it. Far from it. Arsenal are playing lovely stuff attacking-wise, a shame the defence looks shakey, but, I feel a win isn't impossible.

Well I think we all knew that it was City's to lose at this stage, but it's still a bit painful watching them do it like this. Absolute gift of a goal in the first minute was always going to make it difficult.

I’m at peace with some of our fans wanting it now even though I’ll never get it. I just presume they’re London based or something, so it’s natural they want that, they’ve never met a city fan in the wild.

Pretty much this. There are no City fans south of Stockport.
There are a tonneload of annoying Arsenal fans down here, in the media and everywhere. And even Liverpool fans don't get cocky BEFORE they've even won something.

City 1/4 to win the league now. Arsenal have pissed it away.

Very suspect the extra time.
Where the feck did that come from?

I don’t even think his shit housing was that bad, it was made to feel worse that arsenal players, mainly Jesus started holding their arms up within a split second of him getting the ball.

I’m actually all for the way it was done at the World Cup, but you can’t just have a random game with no majory injuries attract 15 minutes of additional time when any other game would have had 7-8 max

If we can cut out the silly errors maybe but City have hit their scary form at the right time. They need to give Saliba some roids.

8 minutes stoppage time. Bullshit. Even with Bednareks time-wasting how do you account for just more and more minutes stacked on top?

Bazunu took about four minutes on the goal kicks so no different to the World cup and Saints also had Lavia treated for a couple of minutes in second half so didn't see the big issue tbh.

A weaker ref could've easily pointed to the spot aswell when they were collapsing in the box so overall he did quite well.

2 minutes for lino armband too but clear agenda. An agenda that could have seen Southampton relegated.

It's like the style of extra time we all want to see, but you can't just suddenly pull that in a huge game in the title race and relegation race. Unjustifiable unless it's consistent from now till seasons end which we know it won't be.

Thankfully had no baring on the result.
