Premier League Gameweek 30-32

How many more fouls they gonna commit on Brighton on the break before the ref gets a card out? Had 3 in the past couple of minutes

Ref may aswell be sat at home, he's guessing who gets corners, not bothering to card Diaz, not sure he's even watching any of the match tbh

Diaz, how no yellow card after all those fouls I have no idea.
Thought all the refs were out to get Pool? And they have the cheek to boo, ridiculous.

The hoarding of the ref by a set of players after each foul or decision these days does my head in and is completely ruining football, fecking hell.

Think they are entitled to after the same bloke commits foul after foul with no repercussions.

The ref just looks like a Pixar character, specifically Mr Incredible's boss in the first Incredibles film

I can't stand it. But I also can't stand the lack of quality refereeing in the PL.

Not saying it's fine to surround the ref, but I can see why certain things would drive me around the bend as a player.

Do not worry caf, I’ve banged £30 on Pool to win this (at 1.67). This is as good a guarantee as you can get that they won’t win
I also picked them in our work last man standing game. Specifically because I may be cursed where luck is concerned.

I was talking about us after the Gross' foul (which he seemed to have no intent to book until we complained) and especially them after the equalizer. You know there is VAR, you know it will get checked for offside. Why the feck do you feel to need to go scream in the ref's face or ask for his explanation? Does my head in.

Yeah so do I.

It's just that the fake injuries, the time wasting, the complaining, ... can be cut out altogether soooooooo easily but they flat out refuse to even look at a rule change. It completely ruins the football experience for me these days (and this is like the first game of football I'm watching in a month or two I think - now I know why again).

A stop clock is such an easy thing that would fix so many things.

Dissent to refs is supposed to be a yellow, but refs don't seem to apply it consistently.

They’ll start running into the VAR room eventually to put pressure on those guys.

11 fouls against Liverpool compared to 4 from Brighton yet they have 1 yellow card each. These are the decisions that consistently affect games, yet it is rarely highlighted by anyone in the media.

Liverpool: 14 fouls, 1 yellow.
Brighton: 4 fouls, 2 yellows.

And these scouse cnuts actually had the front to boo the ref at half time like they're being hard done by.

It’s 14-4 now and somehow both have 2 yellows. Go figure

Thing is that you can hardly deduct something from stats like that. Same as "oh but they got 10 penalties this season whilst we only got 3", means nothing because you have to look at each situation individually.

That said, he should've said to Diaz a long time ago that he needs to tone it down or the next one would be a yellow.

Already seen a Twitter account with "LFC" in their handle calling David Coote the most corrupt ref in Premier League history

They hate him after he disallowed them a late winner at Goodison for offside a few years ago when he was in the VAR room and they can't let it go.

Yeah but Gross got a yellow card for Mac Alister kicking him (so there's a foul that wasn't even a foul) then Diaz is just going through players nowhere near the ball multiple times, he shouldn't need to be told to tone it down, he knows the rules and should have had a yellow.

However, it's not even strange refereeing, it's just the standard we all expect now. Everyone is genuinely more surprised when a referee gets something right.
