Premier League Gameweek 3

Release clause that Haaland put in when he went to Dortmund. Was just a case of where he wanted to go but it was always going to be a bargain for the next club.

A real bargain. And with Pep as their manager, City were the obvious choice in the PL.

Why aren't Real Madrid after him? Seriously?
Where would he play/where would he have played over the last few seasons? Casemiro / Kroos / Modric did the business for about 6 seasons.

Must be nice playing with De Bruyne. Just assume he can put it anywhere if you find space.

Here we go. Piss easy league this, for City. Thank god for the champions league.

Apparently the total of the contract, plus fees etc was nearer £200m
wasn’t including haalands wage, just purely transfer and bonuses.

people seem to think the only fee was the amount to dortmund which is just spin.

even so, anything around 100m for him is still fair

We all know how good City are but De Bruyne really is the catalyst for them.

Did City change something or have Newcastle just ran out of gas, and nerves have got to them now?

Pep is going to have to outdo himself to feck the Champions League up this time.

They have like 15 players, the scripts already there.... and they are gonna let one of their actual not somewhat injury prone players go in Silva dropping that to 14. Walker, Dias, Ake*, Laporte*, Stones, Phillips*, De Bruyne, Haaland will all almost certainly get injured for brief parts of the season and the timings will likely align at some point.

approx 90m once you take in the fees required to Raiola and his dads cut.

the fee to dortmund was a very small piece of the package

Thank you.
If it was 90m it was such a bargain given his age and goalscoring record.

KDB. Oh dear me what a ferking player. Somebody said this above but I do find it shocking that nobody ever goes after him, or went after Aguero or David Silva. Must know that they’re raking in millions extra in off shore accounts.

Aguero and KdB, two of the best players in the world over the last 20 years. Zero CLs between them and unless Pep can do something it will stay that way.

They're both the modern day Shearer and Le Tissier. :)

Challenge = / = Bundesliga
Yeah I get your point. It was more of a sarcastic comment. Players love to give that as a reason for moving clubs these days. Perhaps he should leave to experience those leagues.

That’s harsh. Fernandinho made a career of those tackles.
