Premier League Gameweek 3

I was just looking through the Utd team and in the tackle its like men vs boys. Bruno, James, Sancho and even Pogba are just so weak. Wolves players just brushing them aside with disdain.

Utd will win as mentioned above, a breakaway goal. But bloody hell do they look poor. Would like the usual posters to call me a WUM again for pointing out the obvious.
I would take Benitez.....at least he is a decent coach.

In and out of the game but created a great chance for you guys with Greenwood and that run was only half a second off. He'll still decide the game.
That's the trade off I guess but it's not enough for me. Specially when Ronaldo arrives, we cannot have 2 players who will disappear from games.

I wouldn't say they are poor, its taking the top teams a lot of time to adapt to the new rules. Saw it with City vs Spurs and both Klopp and Ole have already had a moan about it.

Having a moan and being poor are two different things. Spurs, City, Chelsea and Liverpool are putting teams like Southampton and Wolves to the sword. Not just hanging on when really they should be 2-0 down already.

Not sure about Pogba in midfield next to Fred either. Doesn’t have the discipline to play deeper like that.

For a list of them have a look in the "best squads this season" thread. You're right near the top.
Oh one of those threads that popped up after we thumped Leeds? It was hard to pay attention to those.

I think United will take this in the second half. Wolves needed to punish them in the first 45.

Spurs won 3 games 1-0 in which they got completely mullered by the same Wolves and fell over the line. Wolves (same one dominating United) had 25 shots to Spurs 8. That game was no different to this and why most people are still tipping United to win. You can't say Spurs and putting teams like Wolves to the sword when they've literally been battered by them and won by a 50/50 peno a week ago. I'm no United fan but Wolves were more dominant vs Spurs than today.

Spurs have won 3 outta 3 without conceding and faced 50+ shots to the 30+ they've had. I'm no United fan but thats unfair. Liverpool, City and Chelsea had dealt with their easier games handier but they haven't played Wolves nor Southampton so comparisons are moot.

This United side would be a serious threat with Conte in the dugout, would probably favourites for the title this season.

Ole hasn't done a bad job per se especially with squad building but he just isn't the one to take United back to what they should be doing.

Think Ole is a manager, unfortunately a lot of us have been saying his coaches are just not good enough. Ole admits he doesn't really do any coaching.

Wolves tiring fancy United in the next few minutes with Wolves switching off.

There's the late sucker punch for Wolves.

They're the new Brighton.

Utd for the league title. Playing like champions. Winning like champions. :D

Mass backtracking on the Mike Dean thread anyway. Pogba went over the ball then didn't he? Mind you thought Fernandes was fouled last week so evened itself out there.

Feel for Wolves but that’s three games in a row they’ve played well and lost.

Its hilarious but as always after half the site calling me a cnut, I won that debate. He did but he glanced the ball and under new guidelines ref was never gonna rule it out.

Is that goal an own goal as I'm sure it was a cross so not heading for goal?

They'll be o.k once they play some bottom half teams. More about them than last season at least where they hardly had anything in final third once Jimenez got injured.

Neto will be back around October aswell I think.

Yeah plus Trincao looks like a player.

Think it will go down as an og in the end. looked off target.
Wolves gonna Wolves, super predictable.

What a fecking battle. Varane and Maguire showing great chemistry already.
We weren’t going to do well this season by controlling games and completely outplaying them. We are only doing well if our vast amount of ridiculous attacking talent shoots the team out of trouble…and it’s possible

You’ll struggle to win the league like that. Think you’ll need to be better f you want to compete for it. On another day Wolves would’ve scored at least once.

Still think you’re a CDM short of the full picnic.
