Already edited it CheersDisallowed for offside from Cantwell who was blocking Schmeichel's vision. Harsh but that's the rule.
Vitaly Janelt (Brentford) nicks the ball off Emi Martínez (Aston Villa) mid-air during a goal kick and puts it in the back of the net

Yeah thinking the same, GK has no control over the ball the moment the striker touches it.I kinda wish these were allowed. It's in the air...
I don’t think he’s fully fit. Came into preseason carrying an injury. Why is Thiago not starting for Liverpool?
I think the action of kick is deemed to be still in the Keepers possession, so a player can't stop him from that action of kicking the ball. Could be wrong. Why was that ruled out?

It was, but Southampton have battered Newcastle today and are pretty unlucky to be coming out of it with just a draw
That's pretty much their raison d'êtreNorwich are just going straight back down aren't they
Maybe it will tell our players that you cannot go into a game half arsed as PL teams are not all pushovers. It was, but Southampton have battered Newcastle today and are pretty unlucky to be coming out of it with just a draw
