Premier League Gameweek 3

I actually don't mind arsenals attack. Not the best but plenty of players with room to grow. Their defense is shit though

Are Arsenal lining up with 5 fullbacks? Brave move.

Arsenal's back four:
Chambers, Kolasinac, Holding and Cedric.
Fecking hell!

Both Fotmob and Sofascore reckon it's a back 5 for Arsenal.

This City team will only finish 4th or 5th this season, I think. But wow Arsenal's squad is shocking when you imagine they spent £130m already.

Take Tierney out and that's a Championship quality back 5 for Arsenal. I honestly don't think there is a team in the league with a worse defence than Leno, Cedric, Chambers, Holding and Kolasinac.

I'm willing him to finish a sentence before moving on to another one, so far unsuccessful

Benching Mari is somewhat good decision, but then you look at the current lineup... I guess Saka, Ode & Auba could conjure a goal, Arsenal doesn't look that tragic there.

Strange to say as we're only 3 games into the season but I have a feeling this could be a bit of a season-defining showing for Arsenal. If they win, or even just a close loss where they show a bit of heart and make it a close game, and they can probably feel that they might get something out of this season. A humiliating loss and you'd have to think Arteta is really close to getting the sack, and some new face will come in, further reinforcing the veil of uncertainty that is currently hanging over the club.

An Arsenal win here will really put the cherry on top of an awful week for City.

I think they need a miracle to do it but come on Arsenal!

I reckon Arsenals bench would beat their starting side. Even with a couple less players on the field.

Fully agree. Arteta got a lot of time and was allowed to finish two seasons below par. It feels like now the pressure is really on, especially as he was able to massively invest into the squad. Feels a bit like the Chelsea/Lampard situation last season to me, just beginning even earlier in the season due to the first losses.
