Premier League Gameweek 29

I wish it was Arsenal who won the race to spunk €100m on this turd. Trossard has been a far better buy.

All it takes is one good moment to restore a player’s confidence, but that miss doesn’t bode well at all for Mudryk. It looked like he didn’t believe he had any business scoring a goal

Yes, yes you are. You literally said he was crap. You're a numpty.

I think he is crap, as I’m sure there are plenty of players you think are crap. Get over it, you Arsenal lot are so sensitive it’s a joke.

Uh oh, Arsenal fans feeling bullish again
If you don’t live in England it’s difficult to conceive of this as there was no social media the last time they were good, unless you count MySpace I suppose

I know I am not in great position to speak here, but when was the last time Utd were good? Maybe Insta was just getting going?

Chilwell down again. How many fecking times do we say that a week?

Mudryk is shite. All that hype over a player most on here didn't even know about prior to moving to Chelsea.

guys played about 50 games his whole career at 22 years old all at a low level too In Ukraine. He’s absolute gash and his agent has played a blinder to bag him an 8 year contract.

I don't think they do. They are a good team in very good form riding a crest of a wave. I don't however think they are a great team worthy of winning league titles but that's just me.

We have a lot of criticism here as Arsenal members, some rightly so due to the odd absurd comment. But constant posts like yours highlight that bias plays a huge part.
They'll drop off from this level next season IMO - not because I think it's a fluke, but because it's unrealistic to throw away every competition every season. They are on the crest of a wave in terms of focused mentality to keep going every week out of nowhere really, and they've thrown away the cup competitions because of where they are. Next year if they win, they'll then be champions. Completely different mentality to defend your title, when you are now a CL team, you have to split between competitions etc. Class this season, but remains to be seen what they'll be next season as everything changes for them.

With United and Ten Hag, I think Ten Hag is really building us to take every competition seriously, and isn't prioritizing anything. Just knows what the expectations are in every single game. That leads nicely to getting into the CL next year, but then until we have a squad that can handle every competition, we'll go through periods where our level drops off.

This doesn't make sense. Ten Hag has gone for all competitions as it's his first season and he wants to make a statement. Arteta won the FA cup, arguably one of the deciding factors as to why he is still a manager today.

Admittedly, we are a little light this season, but makes sense we go all in on the big one. Having Jesus back means Saka was rested for the first time this PL season which is a boost. I think people underrate how long a full squad rebuild takes and I expect it will take the same amount of time for Ten Hag.

What is to stop Arsenal from strengthening this window, thus allowing us to compete in more than one competition?

Ashley Young unsurprisingly making a meal out of that

Arsenal dodged a bullet with Mudryk
I feel for Mudryk. His confidence looks absolutely shattered.

Potter plays him sparingly and doesn’t seem to have a clue how to use him.

I genuinely got sucked in, watched all his you tube compilations and he looked a cross between Messi and Ronaldo.

Absolutely nothing in that.

Terrible finishing apart from that this half and an awful mistake for the goal.

don’t get this. You can keep your head held high thinking City are irrelevant.

Tell that to the tik tok generation growing up with their success. It’s the opposite.

I don't really care what they think. They will see sense when they grow up.

I’ve seen those headers given as goals . A bit lucky there villa
