Premier League Gameweek 29

Definitely a red. Rose should have been off earlier.

4 teams will be on 57, 58, 59 and 61 once everyone's played their games in hand. Well that escalated quickly.

Rose deserves that tackle for how bad he’s been in midfield.

If that's a red then so should've been Rose on Leno. Baffling consistency from the ref.

Ozil with his shit cross invited that challenge

Good thing that leg breaker is suspended for our game, we've got enough injuries as it is.

Game has come alive at the wrong time, need 10 mintues more

He misses us, Newcastle and Everton away..

Hope it costs them.

The guy in the Schalke game was nowhere near the ball, meaning he wasn't actively challenging for the ball and thus not offside. That is similar to an off-the-ball offense, for example like if someone punches a player who's nowhere near the ball but in an 'offside position'.

Kane here was the closest Tottenham player to the ball and was attempting to play it, thus making him active and offside.

Thanks, I think you are right.

But I remember the Schalke player was in offside position, actively playing but not close to the ball.

Okay, so to show the difference between Kane and Schalke, just so everyone can stop being confused. I've stopped the video of both situations where the foul occurs.

Do you really think there's no difference between whether the two players are active or not, and thus offside, in these two situations?
