Premier League Gameweek 26 fixtures (9th - 11th Feb 2019)

Would be harsh on any of them I feel.

Sterling's been one of the best in the league 2 seasons running, Kane is well .. Kane, and Sancho is tearing it up for the team leading the league in Germany and touted as one of the biggest talents in world football.

It's so good to have options  , still remember the dark days where Carroll was our 'Plan B'.

Kevin Davies got an England cap. :(

It's an entirely new experience for me to be excited about England, still not sure how to handle it.

Jesus feck the squad depth

Aguero off.. Jesus on
Kdb off.. Mahrez on.

Sane and D. Silva still on the bench

:wenger:

We now have the same goal difference as Chelsea and one better than Arsenal. Remarkable.

I agree Rashford has been outstanding, but is it not moreso as a striker than winger/WF while Sancho is naturally more wide?

They can all interchange anyway though. Kane dropped deeper away to Spain, almost like Teddy Sheringham and he was brilliant.

Sterling is an enigma, he's brilliant for City but too often invisible for England.

Kinda like all those fools who wanted Pogba out. I never believed that Jesus was good enough to overtake Aguero. I remember having a debate with a stat specialist, he just couldn't accept that my eyes and my brains weren't having it that Jesus was better

Yep, I could even understood it if we had manager who played good football with good results, kind of like when Fergie used to drop some players, you cannot argue against his decisions, but when managers who didn't prove anything start doing baffling decisions just to big up their ego then you know you cannot agree with that.

Great choices all round tbh, with Ali and Lingard also England should be able to compete to a certain level.

Interesting that chelsea fans are turning on Alonso.. I always thought he was one of their best signings and has been a revelation for them on the flank

No way Hazard can be looking around and fancying another 2-3 years at Chelsea. He'll be gone in the summer.

So did Bothroyd, Charlie Austin (not a terrible player tbf), Zamora etc ..

It's great. So glad we seem to be moving away from 3-5-2 now as well, I see why Southgate went for it as the WC but very clear that moving forward we're better suited to a 433/4-2-3-1.

Still could do with some better central midfielders, but hey ho you can't have it all. (Unless you're France. The jammy bastards.)

With Rashford, Sterling, Kane and the impressive Sancho leading our forward line, we look set for years. It's a great feeling.

The midfield, however...

Come on City get another to put us ahead of them on GD as well as points

He's a wing back. Playing him at fullback with more emphasis on defending exposes him.

Man. City in proper cheat mode now...bringing on David Silva at 5-0 up to see the game out!
