To be fair they’ve played like absolute shit for the past few games and have City next. Drop points here and a good chance v City and something could be brewing. If they don’t pick back up quickly they could go 2/3 games dropping point. You just never know.

It’s hardly pretending. The points are clear to see, and city are in a dip. Arsenal often capitulate at this point in the season so it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that they do so again.
If they only get a point here today why would you think it a silly notion to say we have a shot? If they win, different story I guess.
