Wow. Somehow you've still concluded I'm the one that's got this wrong.Theres no hope for you.

Because we are highly unlikely to do better than City during the remainder of the season. Qualifying for the Champions League is really important so it's best to be as far away from the chasing pack as possible. Spurs keeping up with us is bad news because we're not finishing above City so we have to make sure that at least one of Newcastle and Spurs stays behind us - and with the fixture congestion and our squad that's not going to be easy. Why is getting closer to second a bad result? Surely dragging another team into potentially dropping out helps our chances? I can’t see what the harm is in being as far away from Spurs today as we were 4 hours ago. It’s not like we have to play City ourselves and Spurs have one less tricky fixture played
How can bringing another spot into a top 4 race while maintaining our lead against 5th be a bad thing?Wow. Somehow you've still concluded I'm the one that's got this wrong.
Good pointWith hindsight, I'm glad we face Barcelona early. If we get knocked out, it probably works out in our favour.
Why are we highly unlikely? Have you not seen the table?Because we are highly unlikely to do better than City during the remainder of the season. Tottenham now favs for top 4 now, as I said yesterday got to win home games, yesterday result and Leeds that’s 4 points dropped.
Why? We're a better team than City, the table will reflect that by the end of the season.Because we are highly unlikely to do better than City during the remainder of the season. Hopefully, yes. Which is why it's annoying they haven't done it today. If we aren’t finishing above City then they’ll take points off all of our rivals in the second half of the season right?
It's hard to take posts like this seriously. Why? We're a better team than City, the table will reflect that by the end of the season.
I try ignore your posts butHow can bringing another spot into a top 4 race while maintaining our lead against 5th be a bad thing?
Simple maths here buddy
But it IS a bad result for us. What does that have to do with us winning?
Either way helps us. There isn’t a universe where we cant catch City and if we can’t catch them that means they’ve gone on a run and taken points off our rivals.Hopefully, yes. Which is why it's annoying they haven't done it today.
Yeah, because your posts have been so enlightening. It's hard to take posts like this seriously.
Because we are highly unlikely to do better than City during the remainder of the season.
At least you admitted you don't take any joy from watching football so your posts make sense.Wow. Somehow you've still concluded I'm the one that's got this wrong.
Oh nothing. Too bad we won cause we sure as hell won't win the next one or at least the one after the next one.But it IS a bad result for us. What does that have to do with us winning?
Surely you understand that if City go on a big run - which I absolutely expect because they have a habit of doing so - after losing to Spurs, that's the worst possible outcome for us? They stay ahead of us after giving three points to a rival.Either way helps us. There isn’t a universe where we cant catch City and if we can’t catch them that means they’ve gone on a run and taken points off our rivals.
It can only be good. I still don’t understand this.
What on earth are you rambling about? At least you admitted you don't take any joy from watching football so your posts make sense.
Relax. What on earth are you rambling about?
We lost Casemiro for three games and Eriksen until the end of April, we don't have a reliable and quality centre forward and our attacking play basically relies on Rashford entirely. We're 3 points points behind after 21 games, in better current form and have already played Arsenal twice whilst they haven't played them at all yet. This seems a bit if a self defeating attitude to take given the current situstion
People are still scarred by some other false dawns, ten Hag's the real deal though.A weekend where we gain point on the top two and finally move ahead of Newcastle while also Liverpool and Chelsea drop points is apparently bad. I thought I’d heard it all before now, but I was wrong.
the anxiety disorders are bad for some folk and I feel for you
Can you show a single post from anyone saying that the weekend was bad?A weekend where we gain point on the top two and finally move ahead of Newcastle while also Liverpool and Chelsea drop points is apparently bad. I thought I’d heard it all before now, but I was wrong.

Relax.
Running to another thread won't make your posts make any more sense.PL thread is a fun one. You'd think we're 10th.
But surely they beat our other rivals and we make up the points there?Surely you understand that if City go on a big run - which I absolutely expect because they have a habit of doing so - after losing to Spurs, that's the worst possible outcome for us? They stay ahead of us after giving three points to a rival.
We'll drop a lot of points from here on, let's hope the others do as well.
Which was the most recent. Shits going down.Arsenal have looked the best attacking team in the league apart from one game.
While Citys attack relies on Haaland and Spurs on Kane?We lost Casemiro for three games and Eriksen until the end of April, we don't have a reliable and quality centre forward and our attacking play basically relies on Rashford entirely.
Frankly, ETH is performing miracles with all that but keeping it up in the circumstances is a huge ask.
Running to another thread won't make your posts make any more sense.
I'll always have your nonsensical posts at least to cheer me up thanks.
"Running."
Enjoy your misery, cheers.
1-1 West Hameh? Yesterday’s result was a United win… wtf?
You're trying too hard mate. Cheers.I'll always have your nonsensical posts at least to cheer me up thanks.
What do you mean?some people post from an alternate reality I think
The back up you were hoping for might arrive soon. Seems you're being ignored though. You're trying too hard mate. Cheers.
What do you mean?
Celtic, no bother mate.I thought you were a United fan, but you're not, so no problem.
Talk about nonsensical posts. The back up you were hoping for might arrive soon. Seems you're being ignored though.
Grealish=a pair of shorts wearing a footballer, in search of a free-kick.Grealish and Haaland don’t fit.
The team as a whole just don’t look very enthusiastic or bothered.
