We were blown away by Arsenal make no mistake about it.
We wouldn't even get to half way line, consistently.

They had the most touches in the our box than any other game this season. We were under the coch massively.

Main culprits were Shaw and DDG for being in panic mode the whole game.

You could also say the Martinez goal was lucky.

But today, Everton are showing with right intensity, belief Arsenal are there for the taking.
 
Everton are defending the wide spaces really well Martinelli and Saka are always doubled and the defenders are getting really tight and not allowing them to get turned, we were allowing them to get turned constantly and back our defenders into the box especially Saka
 
everton with the better chances which means arsenal will win 3-0
 
Everton should be winning this, but you know that arsenal will Nick this 1-0. Still so pee’d off that Casemiro was out for the Arsenal game, we’d have beaten this lot with him
 
You can just tell it’s going to be one of those games where Everton will waste chance after chance and then Arsenal will go up the other end and score with the first decent opportunity they get. Seen it happen so many times before.
 
This is going to be the typical ‘champions have to grind some results’ win for Arsenal.
 
This game definitely shows we get more joy against Arsenal with Casa not suspended

Suspect we will see them bring on Trossard and Jorginho IF they don't get a breakthrough early in second half

That yellow card certainly did,jeez IF only he had met that corner in stoppage time. Yes he's still banned but psychologically was massive.

I hope they get motivated a bit before that or they'll have missed the game!
 
Arsenal need to win this to start this weekend on a rare high note but the more everton hang on the more likely the blues will get something out of this.
 
Can't see Everton scoring. Looking like a 1-0 Arsenal.
