Premier League Gameweek 20 (26th - 28th December 2017) - Boxing Day

Spurs are a good side. Saints aren't a good side. The good side are winning.

No big sides should drop points today. Got a feeling Burnley will upset us.

What's happened to Southampton, they used to be a tough prospect for a better side?

Where would you rank Son in terms of best Asian players of all time?

Sounds like I’m going overboard but there have been very few Asian players who have really excelled in the top leagues

That list of names Kane is leading for number of goals in the year for club and country. Sorry Harry they are all at top clubs, you need to move.

Don't say that, somewhere Glaston is awaking from his post-Xmas slumber to tell you how wrong you are, that Spurs beat Real, he's at his boyhood club and they've got a brand-spanking new stadium on the way. Why would he want to leave?!

Southampton sold their soul by selling all their top players. Got away with this for awhile, due to managers punching above their weight (though never helped Puel), but now they are falling down the table. Perhaps they will get relegated.

Player + Manager turnover. The manager incomings and outgoings have hurt them more. I think they should have hired Pellegrini back when he was available, just got too smart for themselves.

4 down with almost 40 minutes to go is a disgrace for them.

Nothing like a bit of Christmas turkey leg pulling. It depends on what his ambitions are in the end.

That would've been some way to claim your hattrick. So close for Kane there.

It looks like VVD is on his way as well, think they will be in real danger.

Every thing seems to be coming off for Spurs in this game. Flicks, tricks, everything. Even that little blunder by Loris.
As I just pushed save, Southampton score.

It's so daft in this day and age that the 3pm Boxing Day kick offs aren't televised. A day of absolutely nothing to do, and loads of football, but none of it to actually watch. If there's something that's going to stop a man going to the game on Boxing Day, it's not the fact the game is on, it's because he's onto his 4th turkey sandwich and was drunk at 1 o clock.

Weekly reminder that Lloris is shite. Not anywhere near as bad as Forster though.

Why aren't City playing today? Am I imagining things or didn't everyone used to play on Boxing Day?

I think lloris is a very good keeper, but purely because of the acclaim some give him I would say he's one of the most overrated players in the league. He's not on the same planet as de gea

All the top teams will/should win. Only hope is that Crystal Palace can take points off the Arse.

What might have been for Kane
Watching Kane, you just can’t help but wonder what might have been if Van Gaal and Woodward had secured him four years or so ago.

At that time a valuation of £40m+ was deemed outrageous by observers.

He would cost three times that much now - and that’s a conservative estimate.
