Premier League Gameweek 17-19

Can someone explain why that was offside? Genuinely don't understand it.
When the Brentford player shot Wissa was inside the Liverpool goal in an offside position. He then got on to the end of the save by Allison and scored.

He was behind the line. He needs two players to he between him and the goal to be onside when he goes for the ball He was offside like twice looking at it!

Commentator said Wissa was coming from an offside position.

It sometimes surprises me how people form such weird opinions on football, then the match day thread make me realise why :wenger:

Ox on the left wing is practically a non-entity. Last few games they played with a man down or so I feel.

I have £50 riding on an accumulator for Pool to win. Talk about mixed emotions... :nervous:

30 minutes in and Liverpool have resorted to a mindless barrage of crosses. How are they this s***?!

Ok, in before I jinx him for a howler later, but Brentfords keeper is the best one I've seen that has been linked with us. Good with his feet, looks a unit, good saves and communication

Brentford will get a big chance on the break they just need to make sure they put it away.

Wissa was behind the line but so was Alexander-Arnold.

Checked the offside law. For the purposes of offside the player is considered to be on the line. Meaning he was level with Alexander-Arnold. He was onside and the decision was wrong.

Or am I mistaken in something?

Edit. He was behind the Goalkeeper derp

After he did that fecking Banks vs Pele tier save that turned out to be offside earlier, I knew he was nailed on the chuck (at least) one in later. He's already marked.

Definitely better than Brentford level, I could see him making the step up soon. The perfect modern keeper.

Far too easy so far for Brentford. Defend deep when we have the ball and then easily breaking through our midfield.

Wth? Games are being played today?
Oh, damn, there was I bored an hour ago at work, thinking what to do when I get home.

Oh 2-0

You are all welcome
