Premier League Gameweek 17-19

Can't blame Michael Oliver there really. His hand was up by his face and moved as he got hit in the head. VAR did its job.

Why did he give that if he wasn't sure? That's what VAR is for, to spot those missed errors, not to correct your stupid guess. You can see he wasn't sure and just reacted the Ødegaard's appeals with the delayed whistle.

How did Oliver see a handball again?

He had the perfect position to see it clearly.

Arteta wants a penalty for a header.

What a clown!
It’s interesting as I reckon having VAR to back up shit decisions probably emboldens referees to give penalties they’d probably not have given before… but then again Oliver would have

It's shocking, you need to be 100% sure for these calls.
Especially when the bar is so high for VAR to get involved. Say that glances his hand a little bit and Oliver is guessing. You can talk yourself into something not as blatant as that being a pen that’s for sure

Yes you can
He basically guessed. It's understandable if he didn't give it and var does. But this was the other way around

I'm still laughing at this
It reminds me of Atkinson giving Chelsea a goal Vs spurs in a FA cup game and just guessed and it wasn't even over

Insane

Looking at the replays during halftime, West Ham's penalty was clear as day. There's even contact on both ankles.

Had a wee feeling about tonight. Missed kick off and said to the wife when I turned it on we'll be a goal down. They waited until I watched it for 5mins before doing so, very nice of them! :(

Odegaard is a ridiculously talented player. One of those players who just see everything around them.

There's nothing wrong with that

Oliver again referring the reactions.

Arsenal are some of the biggest cheats around these days.
