Premier League - Gameweek 15

Don't really get why the Merseyside Derby was pulled this morning and not last night. Barely anything changed on the weather reports.

The only difference was that gusts at 12pm were predicted to be 71mph instead of 70. Still in the Amber weather warning zone which was enough to see Cardiff, Newport and Plymouth all called off in the lower divisions yesterday. Guess they were hoping it would die down or that the forecasts were wrong?

Blackpool just gone now too in League One for 3pm.

Barrow's game v. MK Dons gone. Disgusting they left it this late for the team and fans travelling so far. Not the first time this has happened with us.

Forest fan in peace. My fist time at old Trafford today after 40 years a forest fan. I think forest will give you a game, but would take a point now. I’m gonna be in the Bobby Charlton stand but will be respectful to the Red Devils. Hope the game goes ahead and I don’t get too wet. Ps. Next Sundays match could go either way for you guys. Be great to see Man Utd move towards the champions league places. I’m gonna get off the tram and walk from old Trafford. Is this the best stop next to the cricket ground ?

Ps. I have a spare ticket in the south stand if someone wants it and can meet me there to scan them in. Don’t want any money for it. Might help out a fan who can’t afford to go.

Yes, not good at all. They've known the forecast all this time, and Barrow being where it is I don't know why they'd have waited so late.

Bristol Rovers another one to fall this morning.

You can do that one or Trafford Bar (bit more of a walk but not as busy coming back).

Enjoy your visit ( not too much though… aka I hope you lose)

Trafford Wharf which is on the Trafford Centre line is the closest to the ground but you can also get trams to Old Trafford or Exchange Quay as well.

Apparently you have to consult the EFL to call off a game, if you call it off yourself you get fined. Might be the EFL told them to wait.

Even the weather is trying to help Liverpool. Now they have more time to recover psychologically from their run of game without a win.

Fecking scousers.
Game in hand is their nearest rivals. If the game is played in January, you may have a point. If it's in April in the thick of a title race then it'll be tricky.

Bet it will be during CL playoffs.

You’re a good person.

As I'd have imagined really, but that consultation could have happened yesterday I suppose.

Police can get involved too, they consult with a club's health and safety people as far as I understand and can advise. If the police were saying it's a bad idea to play I can't imagine the football authorities ever not listening to them.

Our game was consulted on yesterday in meetings and they decided to go ahead with it only to then have meetings this morning and cancel it.

Everton Vs Liverpool postponed is bollocks, 2 teams in the same area. You can't say that local people can't make it to the game.

The 2 stadia are walking distance apart, ffs!
An Everton fan was killed in 2004 by flying debris before a game against Leicester due to strong winds. It was a sensible decision.

They probably waited till the last minute because the game was to televised. Sky won't want the game pulled unless its absolutely necessary so they don't lose viewers

It was called off 3 and a half hours before kick off in fairness and it was a local derby so apart from the out-of-towners, fans would not have even got out of bed at that point.

At the ground now.
Up until around 15 mins ago, it was windy.

Rain has started, but it’s still miles in the realms of a shitty day, and not a storm.

Christ, they talk some shite on 5live.
Who was that clueless pundit who was saying that Newcastle not being allowed to spend whatever they'd like is making the league un-competitive? Because it was so competitive when Abramovich first took over. Same with Abu Dhabi as well.

Ordinarily this is where I’d stick a load of cash on city. Not today.

What they saying?
Chapman, Theo Walcott, Warnock,Dion Dublin and Paul Robinson practically all in agreement that that Ruben's set up on Wednesday was questionable. They don't really understand Ruben's logic in squad rotation. Warnock largely implying that Ruben is lowering expectations at United. Saying that United should be competing at the top of the table. And they all think Rashford is still a top player.

I think we are starting to see the end of Pep.

Villa player falls over with the ball and literally just grabs it to stop Soton countering. No yellow card of course.

These refs are just so fecking weak, players don't even think twice about shithousing.
