The first part is the reason why I feel we wouldn't have wanted to sign Conte.
We tried a short term solution before, who was expected to bring is titles in the short term. While he certainly did give us a title in the short term and had our best player season since Fergie, it became bad quickly and after that we had to reset.
Ragnick is someone who presents a longer term solution. Someone who, when done with his 2 year consultancy, can lay a platform for us to be successful in the long term rather than the shirt term with Conte.
Really hope we don’t go for Rodgers.
