Premier League Gameweek 14-16

So both Fernandez and Caicedo escape second yellows, Gilmour gets booked for asking for the latter to be booked and they then concede a penalty. This is the luck of the scouse.

Not a chance. He puts his arm out. Milner is so much stronger in that position. Mudryk is soft and can't do anything apart from putting his legs into Milner.

Why is that allowed ?

Sometimes it just feels like your team is never going to score again. Oh and there is no anticipation of any happening good when Nunez is onto goal.

Tbf to even make a fool of himself with his finishing so often he first gets into some incredible positions through his pace and sheer will.

I would trade Nunez for Rashford right now.

Why is that allowed ?
You are supposed/allowed to protect the ball or make yourself bigger in that position. As long as you don't hold someone or tackle someone like rugby player.

Milner clips his legs before making contact with his body
No, he dosen't. Look at replay. He puts his arm pretty much at start of his run. Mudryk "dives" into Milners leg when he couldn't push Milner out of the way.

So annoying with Nunez he needs about 4 or 5 clear chances to just score one. He’s more of impact off the bench than he is starting for us. Gakpo should have started today after his goals on Thursday.

I think we're so accustomed to seeing players push one another when side by side and nothing is given think nothing of it. But really it's a foul when you're running at full pelt  Nothing to do with being ''stronger''

Jimenez is the worst striker in the league. Sad to see what he's become.

If you clearly aim for/take the player, I thought you could get a red even if penalty given (double jeopardy works if you try to make a proper tackle)?

It definitely looked like that, clear and intentional getting the legs entangled, but it appears now that it’s within the ref’s discretion how serious the foul is.

This was such a good weekend for Man Utd only if they had won.
How on earth would it be good for United if we had won? Chelsea winning, Arsenal won, City will win - what am I missing here?

I mean, honestly it’s good if Utd win as we’re Utd fans but everyone around us is winning too.

That should have been penalty if you give Chelsea one. Similar situations.

How long is Alisson out for ? Their backup keeper looks bad.

Frustrating player. You wonder if he should get the Joelinton treatment. He's very good at football but bad at scoring goals.

Salah with the most Nunez of all misses there.

Will 100% win.
I know early on when it’s not happening. You can’t have your forward offsides and hitting crossbars whilst having your CBs giving the ball away time and time again.

Liverpool and Villa losing. Man Utd would be 1 point off top 4.

If we act quickly, we still have a chance of salvaging this season.
