Premier League Gameweek 13

That pass for the AWB goal is one of the best I have seen.

Not really, he missed the ball took the player out its a penalty. Not sure where the '5 pens a match' came from, rarely do I see a GK missing the ball but taking out the player NOT being given a penalty. Maybe you can take the tribal glasses off and be a bit more objective. But then I remember United fans defending that Wolves not-pen last season where Onana wiped out the Wolves player and got away with it. As for conspiracies.....a bit rich coming from United fans mate, when vast sections of United social media resembles RAWK from its glory days

That Wolves one was never a penalty, the ball had already been headed clear by another player before the contact

We’re not “fodder”. Behave.

Them winning would be way better than Liverpool or City doing so.

Yet we still managed to fecking lose to them.
I personally think City will get their act together and buy a replacement in Jan for Rodri. We have dropped too many foolish points to win the title this season. With City you need to be running away with it at this point to have a chance.

We are also too dependent on Odegaard, I said it before, you can't be a serious team and depend so much on one midfielder. We desperately need a backup for him in Jan.

Yeah, not seen the one today but the Onana one was a defo pen. When a keeper clatters into and/or punches a player it’s a pen.

It was hard to see the contact in the replay so it was very a light, glancing blow at best. If Taylor hadn't given it on the pitch I don't think VAR would have intervened.

But sure look I captained Saka this week in FF so I don't care too much.

Spurs fan.

Love how tribalism and bitterness make people see the obvious as doubts.
Am I the only one saying there wasn't much contact? Show me conclusive evidence to the contrary and I'll gladly change my mind, it's not like I'm particularly fond of West Ham either.

I agree it's a pen but it's just as much of a foul as when Gabriel scored and that goal should have been written off.

30 minutes should be enough to injure our whole team. Lopetegui is a genius.

Punched him in the head.

I thought there was very dubious contact levels on the Saka trip.

I know. Just nice little coincidence.
Balances it out, we had an atrociously difficult first few 2 months, where we played eg City Spurs Villa all one after the other and the former two with a lot of injuries. And even in this coincidence there's a few away games. London has simply too many clubs.

Should have scored 3 or 4 and were done by an outrageous penalty decision.
Exactly. It’s like the fecking Crystal Palace game. The amount of missed chances we had was unacceptable.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they do manage to get a replacement for Rodri and win. I’d rather they win than Liverpool, but I’d still much rather have you win.
I do believe that but the more you see their fans and players, the lesser you feel that's true.
Fair. To me, Liverpool and City fans are way fecking worse.

4 penalties for the Arsenal this week. Pretty good. We’re doing well if we get that many all season. If it wasn’t for the Bournemouth refs rush of blood to the head, it would be business as usual with Liverpool top… aaaaand where are United, you may ask? Joint bottom with Palace on one. Must’ve been a leg breaker on an England player.

The one against Sporting was a spot on penalty, he wiped out Odegaard, took out his legs. The one against Gabriel also a penalty, it usually is when you miss the ball and punch someone. The one against Saka a bit soft but a penalty.

Not everything is a conspiracy. The refereeing in UK is just dire all across. There is no consistency. A red card today is nothing tomorrow. A penalty today is nothing tomorrow. A yellow today is ignored tomorrow. That's the issue, I am not sure how this is solved personally as the referees are just pretty poor.

Not a fan of this Chelsea side being good already. Was looking forward to at least 1 more season of laughing at some Boehly inspired madness

We’re still very fallible and not near a title fight yet. We do however have the youngest starting lineup in the PL by a long way so it’s promising

Villa

Love it when you see one of the rare free kicks in footy

Edit: Cole Palmer looks like he hasn't a clue what is going on here

A bit wild how Martinez is allowed to stay a meter from the goal line when the free kick is at like 7 meters. Decent game so far though.

Unreal. Against the run of play and Everton give it up
