Premier League Gameweek 12

Idk if it’s just being used on Peacock in the US. But it’s a camera on a track that goes up and down the stadium. It’s gives a wider view of the pitch so you can see formations better. But it kind of feels like you’re watching someone play Fifa

They trialled it on Sky recently, wasn't received very well.

I can't remember we had a manager who was capable of in game managing to a good standard. Too many times Dyche allows us to run players into the ground.

Viera sent off for Arsenal. Bad tackle on Brownhill.
Glazed him but a bit too high. An orange card but with the nonsense red cards being dished out, this one is acceptable i guess.

It's actually quite fun watching us again. We are capable of scoring goals.

Great win! Nice buffer to the bottom 4 clubs now. They're really poor.

Not sure what people's thoughts on Solanke are?

Everytime I watch him he randomly winds me up. Visually he looks a decent forward but he takes so many touches when in the box and just loses the ball constantly.

Makes sense that Newcastle on so much with how great of football they play. Has to be the only reason right

I need a Newcastle win for a 130/1 acca, so can’t help but want them to win :nervous:

Still seething about Liverpool getting actual cash money for him after he scored 1 in about 30 for them.

Almiron's haircut  Dunno if it makes him look 10 or 50 years old

Eddie Howe had a massive hard on for signing Liverpool reserves in those times, Jordan Ibe and didn't they sign some midfielder for about 12m who played twice for Liverpool in an injury crisis?

Almiron off injured now, I can see Newcastle losing this.

I would guess of top half clubs Liverpool have the fewest injuries so far this season? Can't think of any of their key player missing games through injury this season.

This to me is purely a consequence of the ridiculous schedule since June 2020.

But people laughed when anyone dared to suggest a team’s underlying metrics being good could be an indicator that their form could improve.
It's funny as we have actually been arguably worse in some respects with the football we have played against West Ham and Palace compared to some of the home games at the start of the season but yeah, I think we fully deserve to have good points on the board and be mid table rather than be mixing it with the bottom 4.

I honestly think clubs in the future will start prioritizing depth over expensive signings. With the 5 sub-rule and the increasing number of fixtures I don't see any other route

They've received so many red cards that most players are well rested. :D

They pumped us 3-0 at old Trafford but look wank tonight
Our lack of quality in depth was always going to hurt us this season with so many competitions.
out -
Botman
Isak
Wilson
Targett
Burn
Barnes
Bruno (the good one)
Tonali (a moron)
Murphy
Anderson

And now Almiron going off injured. Need this break desperately tbh.

What are those?
In the first 8 or so games we had the worst underperforming xG and xP. According to that we should have actually been top 6 rather than bottom 6.

xP now is suggesting 7th for us.

Pope should be doing better securing his post there.

Bournemouth 1-0 Newcastle

That is shocking defending. The Newcastle CB just doesn't react quick enough

Great through ball from the Newcastle midfielder

As it stands we are ahead of Newcastle in the table, how has that happened

Solanke has always struggled in the Prem but he has five now this season.
