As a unit our midfield is completely top (at Villa Park) and has been for a six month period. McGinn motm today and is at the level he was when we were promoted, Luiz class every week and deservedly back in Brazil squad. Tielemans in first start of the season was really good aswell and assisted the own goal. Lost his way at Leicester but in the seasons before he was very good as their 8 tempo setter.

If Fergie had still been your manager he'd have certainly put in a bid for McGinn at some point, probably Luiz aswell who's getting linked to Arsenal again.

Fancy us to go to Spurs and win with what they are missing and that would confirm us top 4 going into December.

Watkins would be doing about as well as hojlund for us given our state... Kane would probably be on like 5 goals, not the 17 or whatever he's on for Bayern... Its one of those things that'll just turn eventually but also an attacking system will do a lot for it too.

Not a surprise, they won't exist if they didn't have one of the biggest clubs in the world football as their neighbors

I like Luiz. I also hate this snobbery about buying players from clubs beneath us.

JWP and Watkins and we'll have scored more goals.

They've waited many, many, many years for this opportunity, of course they're going to milk it. We used to sing, "City, we'll never play you again.." when they were down.
 
Would age ever just catch up to Walker.

Never matters if he's out of position or a player beats him because if they do; vroom vroom, the rapid prick just catches up.
 
Still amuses me that Chelsea still only have literally one chant after all these years

Yep. I remember going to games in the mid noughties and our 'this is it how it feels to be City' chant was sung once or twice a game. But never twice before the 10 minute mark. Them lot are obsessed with us.

Don't think this seems that type of City and that type of season. Can see Chelsea get something out of this for sure.
 
The type of penalty only fecking Man City get given. Every time they get it. It happens every game and nothing is ever given. It’s a joke.
