unlucky for Pool. Didn't seem like an offside to me.
Fully agreed, however he’ll play next week. He doesn’t offer anything other than intensity at the 8 and against teams like this it’s better suited off the bench. He’s only playing because he’s captain. The midfield against City should be Fabinho, Wijnaldum & Chamberlain.
VAR playing a blinder at Villa Park although the linesmen are told to keep their flag down even if they think tight calls are offside.
If the linesman does that and its disallowed then all hell breaks loose even thought the linesman would have flagged anyway and in no scenario could it be a goal.
You'll somehow win 4-1 stillGod this is turd. The final ball has been so bad.
But my point is that fans are quick to blame VAR for tight calls as if it wasnt for VAR then all of these goals would be given.Dopey linesman have been putting their flags up on tight calls all season - despite the guidance. What matters is whether the referee has whistled before the ball hits the net or not. Referees appear to be more reluctant to whistle immediately to give the play a chance to break down.

We simply dont know if linesmen would flag or not so a lot of these disallowed goals only get as far as being put in the net due to VAR itself, ironically enough
Sheffield with another. Lundstrom again. 2-0.
Sheffield United are doing really well.My fantasy team looking lit so far
feck Jon moss along with Atkinson one of the worst refs in the game. Being heavily influenced by the home crowd here.
Sure mate.That’s a pen surely
Doesn't matterThe lineman flagged you crisp eating weirdo

Does though. It would have been disallowed if VAR wasnt there, even then VAR shows he was offside.Doesn't matter
