Premier League Gameweek 10

Arteta will get the season, but if they fail to mount a title challenge this season, the pressure will really be on next season and I can see him being one of the first managerial casualties.
They won't sack him. Probably just waiting for Pep to f off first, but Slot will be another season wiser.

Gordon’s all over the place. Involved in everything.

It would be a lovely turn of events if Arsenal faltered and Arteta never won anything with them. They've been consistently edging closer, I did think success was inevitable.

Doesn't look that way so much now.
He won the FA cup already, but yeah it would be funny if he never won anything else

Lego should go all out on the league cup before he's sacked or else he'll be memed for being worse than ETH.

CL final, maybe, but I can't see a League Cup making the difference.
I cup since he’s been at Arsenal. Nothing in Europe. I reckon he will be in trouble halfway through next season if they’re not on track for anything.

Chelsea away next weekend for Arsenal so they really need to be winning today otherwise they risk being 10 + points off at least one of Man. City/Liverpool by the next break.

Not winning title with that big a points margin, 5/6 points is still doable at this stage of the season.

The nerve of Trossard thinking he should be a first pick. Hasn't put a foot right this game.

You haven't watched them much did you? He's been on them since last season I think. Got plenty of assists that way too.
Just going of his first few in this game where they didn’t beat the first man. Can’t say I watch them a lot

I’m surprised he keeps getting starts and thought he should have been took of against Bournemouth for costing his team mate that red card.

True. Just asking why a DM would take a set piece quite unusual. Plus his first 2 was shocking

They've challenged for the league twice now. That's the bar.

If they finish a distant 3rd/4th this season, they've taken a step back. Winning the CL would obviously trump everything and make the disappointing league campaign irrelevant, but everything else is neither here nor there really if they start shite next season (with the possible exception of reaching the CL final).

I really can't see any sort of domestic cup making the difference if they're noticeably off the pace early on next season, unless of course they're happy with another manager who can keep them steady in the top four.

He pretty much takes their left side corners and took that free kick too so that he can whip it in like a corner but he got it horribly wrong though.

Martinelli looks toothless as well. Odegaard is a gigantic miss.

Problem is he won’t be, he’s a Pep disciple which seems to allow him an easy ride compared to every other underperforming manager.

Arsenal have a great record with set pieces expecially corners but it's very basic. Load all the big men at the back post and knock it in high to them!

Arsenal should be on the lookout for a new manager end of this season. Arteta as took them as far as he can. They need someone to take them to the next level.

There's definitely more there and a lot of training ground work going into it.

They have that annoying movement from Havertz who's only job is to impede the keeper by running into him without giving away a foul. I don't understand how he doesn't get penalised for it or why other teams haven't copied it. Of course on top of this you need a Saka or Rice to keep delivering perfect balls.

Think Martinelli isn't helped by having literally no support from Timber down that wing.

Season already over. Another City title.
So boring. But that's life and love when you coexist in Pep's era. Like when Blair ran Labour, Tories knew they could do feck all until the next guy took over. They'll be a bloodbath scramble for trophies when he finally fecks off to Turkey.

Newcastle players are funny. Celebrating every clearance or the ball going out like they’ve won a league title
