Premier League Gameweek 10

Cancelo is really ripping it up today as fine a left back performance I’ve ever seen..

The most annoying thing about City is the insane work rate and how they bust a gut to help each other out in every situation.

We can laugh at Keane banging on about it but really its fundamental to any good side.

BT sport really need to follow the Sky model of not commentating on your own team here

Keane is absolutly right in lot of things he says. I don't know who would laugh at him.

Without determination, passion, hard work, desire you will never achive anything.

Loads of possession and finally scored. Decent rotation from Potter.

Ah he's a hilarious figure as, well as being right a lot of the time.

As I keep saying, putting a shift in is the absolute bare minimum we should expect from every player. It really is remarkable how we’ve managed to accumulate so many lazy players and managers that indulge them over the years. It’s almost like an art installation about sloth.

Yeah, we're defo at the other end of the spectrum.

In fairness to Pep his Barca were like this, frenzied attacks to regain possession. I remember they had extensive training drills based around explosions of movement to regain possession with others with a positional eye in case the frenzy didn't succeed.

As far as we are concerned, ETH mentions it a lot in fairness, but so did Ralf. Both have hinted that it's an instruction that is not being carried out. It's becoming ridiculous at this point that it's still an issue.

That whole “win the ball back within 5 seconds of losing it” thing. Which is old news at this stage. Even being coached to my son’s U14 team. The coach even uses a stopwatch during training. Yet somehow beyond the wit of anyone to implement at Manchester United.

Yeah, it was a game changer over a decade ago that seems to have reached everyone except the small number of players registered at United.

Still though it's Pep's teams who seem to do it best.

I remember one of the best games under LvG when we beat city I think it was 3-1 at their ground, we did this so well. Look at us now...

It's culture that has festered and the responsible party are the owners. Pep can bench a player for being lazy and you're damn well sure the management will back him. Hasn't been the case for us.

Is there much point in watching any of the games today? Cakewalks for all the big teams.

54 mins in 3-0 up and De Bruyne chases down a Saints throw in near the halfway back to their fullback and then the keeper and forces him to play it long.

Spare a thought for anyone who ever rated Adama Traore.

We could do with Bruno Guimaraes right now rather than his namesake.

You slow down that Jorginho tackle and you'd have some people calling for a red.

This fecker.

20 goals for the season (all comps) already.
