Such a good game. A bit too much of the spectacle due to mistakes, but these mistakes are also consequence of the absolute breakneck speed and manic intensity of the game.

The league is spoiled with contests between Pep, Klopp, and Tuchel, all with hugely expensive squads at their disposal.

I don't see what the speed of the game has to do with what Chalobah did (twice I might say)

Typical lucky Liverpool, survived a big error from Trent alexander arnold and score from a big error moments later from Mane whom somehow avoid red in the 1st minute.

I feel like that might have been a red had the Mane incident not occurred

How is james milner so feckin effective still at his age. It’s ridiculous how he just slots into games like this so effortlessly. Just the sort of squad player a manager must dream of.

If you’re acknowledging it’s a foul, as he did by giving him a yellow, then it’s got to be a red. He went into the challenge elbow first at head height. It’s either an accident and you give nothing or it’s dangerous/violent play and it’s a red.
No. Lots of fouls are deemed lesser because of lacking intent. And lack of intent doesn't mean no foul.

Got the ball and caught Jota on the follow through. Not a red.

Well, its not really a contest, City running away with it.

How is that not a corner? This officiating is absolutely horrific.

What you on about

Not a clue how you've linked the incident to Maguire ffs
How many times have you seen players get hit with an elbow or hand when challenging for headers ? Just last game Maguire hit Chris Wood with one. You give a red you're going to have to give all of them as reds.

Bloody hell, everyone has become such pansies. It's football, you have to wonder if most 'fans' have actually played the sport that they love.

We might as well not have a midfield with the way Chelsea are bypassing it.

It's just utterly bizarre to throw Maguire in to the discussion as some kind of comparison.

Theres so many awful refereeing decisions.
Makes it worse that VAR is included in that.
