Premier League Festive Season

Soyuncu is also one of the most overrated footballers I've seen. Convinced he's only been hyped up so much because he replaced Maguire as a starter

Do people even get bothered about Liverpool anymore? Last year the thought of them winning was scary but I just can't get myself to be arsed about it this time. There's only been one winner from the start of the season and it's going to be wrapped up by Feb/March.

Played them off the park here. How are we only 1-0 up?

Problem is Liverpool play the lesser games now with no pressure so the likelihood is the only games they'll really have to get themselves up for now are the big ones meaning added determination to beat the likes of us, City and Everton. Not saying that'll be enough for them to win those games but I'd bet on them winning more than they lose/draw

Remember playing football as a kid on the park, and the one mardy arse who brought the ball can't stand losing, so he picks up his ball and walks home in the middle of the match? I wish there was an adult version of that strop where Premier League teams can just forfeit this season declaring Liverpool's title run null and void. sigh.

It's funny when they fail, but after last year they were always going to win it sooner or later. And I think the CL win finally proved Klopp was no longer a serial loser.

Liverpool deserve to be ahead overall but I do think Robertson fouled Ricardo for the corner which lead to the goal. It appears Robertson can tackle and press with as much aggression as he likes, he’s rarely pulled up on it by referees.

If Salah or Mane had been on their game that first half, this would be done and dusted by now.

Liverpool do the simple stuff very well not exceptionally good to watch though but effective

So is it inevitable Liverpool will break City's all time points record?

Count on it. It’s hard to envisage them ever failing to win a game, let alone lose one. Feels like they will win every single game from now until the end of the season but maybe when European fixtures are back up and running they’ll find it harder. They’ll have won the league mathematically by the end of March at this rate so maybe they’ll rest players in the league.

Leicester are just playing with suicidal tactics. Pushing your fullbacks up again Liverpool is just asking for a thrashing. Why not sit back and wait to play Vardy on the counter? Too late for that now.

Zero shots for Leicester...

Liverpool will wrap the title up mathematically before April at this rate. Guess they could drop off a bit after that.

It's over already, may as well present them the trophy after the match today. It's been over since Laporte got injured. Need 100 points+ to catch them.

Beating the smaller clubs.
Yep. Only team besides Liverpool that was accomplished at beating the smaller teams this season. They've been massively overhyped and lost a bit of form and I can only see them dropping down the table hereon in.

The Liverpool defense look rock solid again like last season. If they play like this they may win everything that is left if they play the cards right.
