Premier League Festive Season

Lampard is nothing special either but at least he is showing more than Ole considering they spent feck all in the summer.
Whats Lampard showing? At least we have the big games to show Ole at least has a clue.
If Lampard is found out 4 months in then hes fecked longterm. Conpare the two of them in their first 4 months.. I mean...

Were you really that reliant on Hazard? I mean I know you had the transfer ban and have had to play a few younger players but I'm surprised with how much he's mentioned.

Weird things happening this year.

We've only scored 11 goals at home this season, but 22 away. We only scored 24 away total last year.

We scored 2.05 goals a game at home last year, down to 1.2 so far this year.

Pretty obviously there is a big tactical issue. We can't break down teams that sit in against us at home... Guess Hazard was the solution to that problem previously.

This defeat and Bournemouth eerily similar.

Lampard needs change style of play at home. Current tactics don't work.

We'll, we're 4th and you're wherever you are, despite Ole buying the most expensive defender in the history of the world and Lampard spending zero.

Not sure of your point? Lampard inherited a more experienced and settled squad. Azip, Rudiger, Kante, Jorginho, Willian, Kovacic, Pedro.. that's not even mentioning one of the most expensive goalkeepers in the world.

Hearing on the radio it sounded like they played well.
Even Ozil was looking like a top player again in the first half.

They done everything correct, bar the final ball today. They looked like a version of City attacking-wise, minus the clinical decision-making/finishing of course.

Of course it's only been 1 game, but Arteta looks like he has something about him here.

Crazy thing is the sides they have got points against.

Wins against Newcastle United (h), Manchester City (h), Everton (a)
Draws against Bournemouth (a), Arsenal (h), Leicester City (a)

Quite a few 'good' sides there.
Poor man's United (of the bottom half ).

Jesus he's only been at the club a few days. Doubt he's done much other than motivate them a bit. Let's not start saying he's some promising genius!

Yeah he is. You still bought him though. And the £55m Pulisic. You paid big money for Kovacic and Jorginho too.

Can't really give much sympathy when you consider the amount you've spent. Hardly paupers!

You can't say "We'll he's got Kepa" when someone else signed him and you think the guy is trash!

If you were honest, you'd say "Lampard has been lumbered with Kepa".

He's inherited a mega money team and should be judged accordingly. The way your club is run Lampard has no say on transfers anyway so calling his coaching and tactics into question is perfectly reasonable and using the fact Ole bought Maguire as some kind of counter is ridiculous.

Norwich could have got a result over their last two games, 4 out of their last 5 games have been 1 goal defeats

What's Arsenal's biggest weakness? Weak mentality, ready to crumble under any pressure. We know from last month with us, Bournemouth at home are no pushovers, especially with the lead. Did you watch the match? They seemed mentally different. There was no dawdling, they were aggressive, quick and penetrative, but lacking the end-product. If he can fix their mentality, and get Ozil back to his best, that's half the job already isn't it?

I definitely think he has something about him, judging from the match.

Chelsea give us yet another chance to reduce the gap to the top 4...

We've been here before!

Judge us then!

Where do you think this Chelsea side should be in the table?

Is our squad better than Man City?

Is our squad better than Man Uniteds?

We're doing far better than most posters and pundits thought we would be.

Get Ozil out never mind get him back to his best. He’s one of the major problems at that club.
SAF, Pep, Klopp would never stand for his attitude

Where do you think this Chelsea side (with the players available) should be in the table? Much higher than 4th?

Essentially Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea and United are all in a very similar boat. There's nothing between them at all. City, Liverpool and Leicester are more consistent and settled.

This Chelsea team shouldn't be getting beaten at home by West Ham, Bournemouth and Southampton.

Arteta said it's a clean slate for everyone and he's been training really well, so i think he's going to be around for a while yet.

Let's be real, Ozil talent is unquestionable, they can't get a better player than him.

Answer the questions you politician!

They are around 7/8th realistically.

It’s not entirely his team let’s be fair. It’s similar to Ole; when he gets the team he wants with the signings he wants then we’ll form a truer judgement.
This side reminds me of his Derby team; playing some lovely pure football but lacking the streetwise fight of other teams
