Predict the Top 6 20/21 in order

Liverpool
Man City
Chelsea
Man United
Spurs
Wolves

I was about to start a similar thread, not sure why this one was started so long ago! Perhaps Everton, Chelsea and Man United spending millions will impact some of the predictions.

As of 9/9/20:

City
Liverpool
Chelsea
United
Arsenal
Spurs

But so much is likely to happen before the window closes so this will need to be revisited.

If we buy Sancho + left back / centre back (otherwise, I'd swap us with Chelsea)

1. City
2. Liverpool
3. United
4. Chelsea
5. Spurs
6. Arsenal

Liverpool
City
Chelsea (they even have a 3 on their shirt! Coincidence? I think not.)
United
Arsenal
Spurs

1. City
2. United
3. Liverpool
4. Chelsea
5. Wolves
6. Spurs

1. City (Strongest squad)
2. LFC (Will not be able to replicate the momentum they had last fall)
3. Chelsea (the BIG winner in the transfermarket this summer)
4. United (Needs more depth and strengthening in DC position)
5. Arsenal (Has something cooking)
6. Spurs (Good squad, but on a downward spiral. Should finish top 6 anyway)

We will be closer to 1st than last season and end up around 75p fighting for 3rd with the squad we have right now. With further improvements (RW/DC) we will close the gap further.
- Us outside top 6 would be a disastrous season
- Us outside top 4,but inside top 6 would be a failure
- Us ending 4th would be on par with our squad strenght relative to the rest.
- Us ending 3rd would be above what we can expect with our current squad
- Us putting up a title-challenge ending 1st, 2nd or 3rd would be a massive success. Not very realistic without further improvements of the squad.

City
Chelsea
Liverpool
United
Arsenal
Wolves (Close with Spurs but no European football might edge it for Wolves)

  1. City
  2. Liverpool
  3. Chelsea
  4. United
  5. Arsenal
  6. Everton

Assuming no more business this window:

Manchester City
Chelsea
Liverpool
Manchester United
Everton
Arsenal

This will not be a typical season, mark my words. A lot of movers and shakers. Nobody will run away with the league this season:

1. Man United
2. Chelsea
3. Liverpool
4. Man City
5. Arsenal
6. Everton
....
18. Fulham
19. Newcastle United
20. Brighton

As it stands.

Liverpool
City
Chelsea
United
Spurs
Arsenal

Top 3 to be a decent amount ahead of us.
Will revise if we or others make some transfers

I'm just curious, why are City overwhelmingly favorites as of today (9/9/2020)? Is Nathan Ake that good? ;)

We can't be nearly as unlucky with xG and xGA next season, We conceded 85% of shots on target in the first half of last season. Add in wanting to bounce back from a humiliating season so more hunger/desire etc..

City (have to be hungry and have big squad to deal with game management better)
Liverpool (they looked tired after the restart and short break+ smaller squad, I wouldn't bet against them defending it though)
United (Vastly improved and will be in the mix for long periods, could well win it if the stars align)
Chelsea (Young energetic and good squad depth, just not the quality XI of the top 2 just yet, the season after this is when they'll really go close)

I can see all of these 4 being with 10 points this season with under 90 points winning the league for the first time in awhile). Winners finishing on around 88 or so and CL qualification being a stupidly high 78 approx.
--------------
Spurs (Ok business but still look short)
Arsenal (I have no clue how consistent they'll be)

Liverpool
Chelsea
City
United
Arsenal
Spurs
Everton, Leicester, Wolves in the mix

United
City
Spurs
Pool
Chelsea
Arsenal
I think we are in for a pleasant surprise this season. Come on United!

City
Liverpool
Chelsea
United
Arsenal
Spurs

With or without Sancho I still expect us to get between 75-83 points next season. I think everyone has forgotten how horrendous we were without a creative spark in the first half of the season. Barring any significant injuries we should be fine.

Liverpool
City
United
Chelsea

Significant points

Spurs the Jose hate blinds people from the fact that they gained the 3rd most points after his arrival.
Arsenal

Don’t have Liverpool as champions again unless they make a couple fresh signings.

Liverpool hasn’t strengthened in two years. They’ve been lucky on fitness but it can’t last.

Our starting XI are as good as anyone’s, but we have no bench. An injured CB and we‘ll leak goals like a sieve. Bruno goes down and our playmaking sours. Martial injured, no striker up top. Shaw. It’s like that with every position except GK.

On paper Chelsea should be vastly improved, but who knows.

City for the win. Dammit.

  1. United
  2. City
  3. Liverpool
  4. Spurs
  5. Chelsea
  6. Arsenal
I'm going for it! United sign Sancho on deadline day and the league is much more open, all teams dropping points to each other. United crash out of the CL early and concentrate on the league, Frank's Chelsea crumble, Jose shithouses his way into the top four and Liverpool have a couple of injuries which derail their season. The bitter pill to swallow is City finally win the CL and the papers declare pep a genius despite the fact it's taken him about gazillion pounds to do it outside of Barca.

Based on what I've read on here

1st Chelsea
2nd Liverpool
3rd City
4th Man Utd
----
5th Arsenal
6th Spurs

Very hard to predict this year. I think Liverpool will regress, they can't improve on the previous season and the contenders are strenghtening.

City
Liverpool
Chelsea
United

United and Chelsea can easily swap places.

Assuming Sancho signs, I would say:

1. City
2. United
3. Chelsea
4. Liverpool
5. Some other team (not spurs)
6. Arsenal

Basically I am predicting Spurs and Liverpool to have a rather poor season and City to be clear winners of the PL. United and Chelsea would be rather neck to neck again this year.
