Predict the date the Ole gets Sacked

How is it the fault of OGS when he cannot get the players in that he wants? As important, he seems to have no control of who leaves, as was the case with JM. OGS does not have control of his own squad. The players know that, so what chance does the manager have? Undermined from day one.

For me, the blame has always been with the Glazer family and their puppet.

Klopp built a cl winning squad with less total spending. Ole spent 200m just to get outplayed by crystal palace

It’s one game ffs. We finished last season very well and he deserves a bit of time. But If we don’t get Sancho and a new cb (Jan window) I think it’s only a matter of time.
It’s actually been all three league games this season. It’s not just about the here and now, it’s about where the club is headed. Do you honestly see us winning the league or CL with him in charge? The players just cannot be this bad and a good manager, forget about elite one, can get us playing with some sort of cohesion.

31st never 20**

I cannot see him get sacked as he is not going to cause any problems behind the scenes or question the ambition of the board unlike LVG or Mourinho.

I'm sure utd will come good again, you don't go and finish 3rd and turn to mid table mediocrity over the period of 8 weeks.

Look at villa right now, just avoided relegation and now near the top of the league. Football is going to throw up some strange results for a while now until things are back to normal. Now is not the time to panic.

The players will rally and keep him in a job at least until early next year. He is useless though and a confident leader will definately imrove us.

Who is that candidate: that can improve this specific squad of players and also handle working under the pressure of our fanbase and our owners?
Pressure? What pressure? Majority of our fanbase are happy with mediocrity. And owners only ever bother about CL qualifications every alternate year. If there was any pressure and accountability like there should be at an elite club, Moyes, LVG and OGS would have each been fired much earlier in their respective tenures. Other clubs react to mistakes, we bury our head in the sand till we almost choke and die.

It's been a bad start. However, we've just come of a pretty long unbeatable streak. He proved he can get into the top 4, even with players like Lingard, James etc. What we can hope for is that our poor start to the season now doesn't get too prolonged like last season, and that we collect fewer draws. One way to archive that is to play less of Lingard, Pereira, Mata and more of VDB, Pogba etc.

If we get better quality players, like Sancho or a Matic upgrade, it might unlock other players too. But if we don't it will be a top 4 chase once again, that is where we are. 3 steps forward 2 steps back. Another manager might have us play better football at times, at other times he wont. No guarantee a new coach can get Pogba to play in more of a cohesive way with others, then maybe he'll have to play Lingard more instead, maybe he want to sell Pogba to buy someone else, but no there is another window or two gone of his management career of waiting for that to happen.

This is what Ole is dealing with and a new manager will certainly deal with it also.

Come on. He hasn't been backed in the market. Its Woodword out and Glazers Out. Not him. He is not the reason why we are performing so Poorly
If we sign Telles that's nearly 150 mil in defenders, With VDB and Bruno that's 100 mil on midfielders, If we get Sancho that's 110 mil on attackers. That's 360 mil in 18 months in charge, we can blame the glazers as much as we want but thats not exactly not backing him.

I honestly can't believe people are saying Ole hasn't been backed because we failed to get him a 120m attacker.

Clutching at every straw available.

He's had Pep levels of defensive spending and achieved absolutely nothing with them.

AWB is a worse player now than he was at Palace (partly because he's obviously the wrong sort of full back for a team used to having the ball). Maguire is a shadow of his Leicester self.

He's had Bruno and Van de Beek brought in and has presumably been instrumental in the decision to keep Pogba and try to encourage him to extend his contract. Midfield riches even Liverpool wouldn't sniff at.

We didn't get Sancho the marquee £120m player. Okay. That can happen. Where the feck are the fall back options? Why hasn't he ensured there were other names on his shortlist to go after? We know Mourinho handed Woodward a shortlist of 3-4 centrebacks and then went off the deep end when he failed to sign any of them. Is this a similar situation or is Ole just a puppet?

It's called clutching at straws. Have you seen the gems defending yesterdays loss because somehow Pool lost badly too?

What a bunch of knee-jerk cnuts in this thread.
Totally agree with you, Alexthelion. Having supported United for more than 50 years now I should be used to this type of thing but it always makes we wonder how the hell these twonks can call themselves fans. The manager hasn't got a magic wand. He needs time and support from the club and the fans. I think we are all disappointed with the transfer window but the squad we have is a good squad with a lot of top class players. All we need is time (don't forget SAF needed 3 years to win a trophy) and a little faith and we will see a great improvement. There are some great young players coming through the ranks and it would be a great shame to spoil it all by bringing in a manager who would have all new ideas. However I wouldn't mind seeing a dedicated attitude coach being brought in... I suggest Roy Keane for the role...

Supporting Manchester United was never easy, but nobody ever said it would be. Ive witnessed some demoralizing, shattering lows since 1963 when I first started going to matches, but Ive also seen incredible highs and I know I will do so again. Manchester United till I die!

Well he is not Klopp.. Nobody is Klopp.. even Pep has spent 500M on defense..

However, he will be gone by December..

It’ll be the day champions league isn’t mathematically possible, in whichever Year that happens.

Can't people see it matters not if we sack Ole because we will still have these fecking idiots running our club .
We have been through 4 managers the past 8 years and they have constantly fecked up transfer windows and not giving the managers the players they wanted .

We needed a LB a RW a CB and a Midfielder with the RW and CB a priority. We sign a almost retired striker a LB a Midfielder and a few kids for the academy. The sooner people realise we could have Klopp running this shit show and it wouldn't matter much. Klopp has build a squad over 4/5 years he got what he needed because he has football men running the transfers of the club .

We WILL sack Ole and appoint someone like Poch then everyone on here will be saying a year or two later Poch is shite he hasn't a clue and restart all over again .

I'm backing him to turn it around.

The people who run the club are obviously a massive problem.

Other massive problems: The side doesn't look motivated, can't defend, can't play out from the back, can't press, can't play in an organised attack, has terrible fitness levels, we can't change games from the bench and have a backroom staff that wouldn't look out of place in League One. These things cannot be blamed on the dreadful owners - they are Solskjaer's fault.

John Giles on youtube saying Ole does not have the authority that Ferguson had. He is too nice and also that Ed Woodward is controlling the club instead. Says as well that Pogba needs to go.

Holy feck, John Giles said that?

Fully agreed mate. It s the same vicious circle.

We can have the best coach in the world, if the running of the club remains so amateurish, we will never win anything.

United - on the financial trajectory they’re on - are more likely to have Glazers sell their shares on before Ole is booted. Huge cash crunch for United in the next 12 months. Another year of sub performance and dried up revenue due to covid will put the final nail in the coffin.

glazers have already been flirting with the idea of a sale

November 2nd is my current estimate, a day after Arsenal potentially hand us our 5th defeat in a row. I'll extend that date to November 8th if we beat Newcastle.

2026 July 12 when the world end.

The same side that looked great at the end of last season ? We have nothing from the bench because of our terrible recruitment

This is what i feel will happen.
Appoint new manager make a couple of signings, make top 4, trouser the profits, total clown show for transfer window whilst all rivals strengthen, have a shit season, sack manager. Appoint new manager, make a couple of signings, make top 4, trouser profits........

After everything that he survived i can't predict anything anymore. 6-1 disaster at OT and nothing.

Lack of buyers will also be an issue when the world economy goes tits up. Also, who buys a sports club that can't have any fans in it's stadium!

How is that anything other than a damning indictment of Ole's management - the players are proven to be good enough to play decent stuff, but Ole has us looking like a pub team?

3 games.....has been played. Im old enough to remember 70's and 80's not a walk in the park to be a fan those

I agree totally with you.

Assuming Ole and the squad can't stop bleeding goals, 12/19/20 when Leeds put 3 or 4 past us at Old Trafford. Mou got sacked in December, so that's my best guess. You could argue it could be a little sooner if we do not quality for the Ro16 and look far off obtaining a Champions League spot.
