Yeah, finally decided to vote, but the poll was already closed - smth like 2 or 3 minutesYou voted when poll was closing?
Ffs, a tie would have given me the tiebreaker victory!
Brutally tough one to separate. Lots to love about Edgar's defensive unit when we factor in Reid and Southall, probably the best in the draft, and can see the logic in Muhren and Currie's roles. My only quibble was servicing Gray and Smith with the direct and wing play game they shone best with at club level. The full backs were perfectly capable of doing that, but would struggle to get forward so much with Bell and Armstrong playing relatively high. Probably didn't help Edgar's case that I've got a boner for Nicol and Pearce's peaks within the draft timeline, both providing as strong a season as almost any full-back in the British game during their respective best campaigns. Beattie too was a superb player and an astute pick at no7.

If it helps I probably would have voted for you this morning
I couldn't decide before I fell asleep and then I couldn't get back online until now.

Saw the tag a bit late. Didn't have much time to look at it but probably have slight preference to Edegar's team due to his defence and Smith/Gray troubling MJJ's central pair.
I loved both teams and could not decide so I decided it would be wrong to vote on a whim, unlucky @Edgar Allan Pillow and congrats @MJJ.
Thanks for sleeping in guys.
Cheers
You had an impervious defense blocking a barrage of shots in the final seconds of extra time. Alan Smith's flick sends Gray through 1 on 1 with the keeper seeming sure to score.... only to have the ref blow his whistle ending the match before Gray can shoot. EAP proceeds to have another tourettes meltdown at the ref
Eap: the pitch was dry.
