The guy said we needed transfers. He didn't get them (thanks, Ed) and you want hin sacked?
Again...we needed transfers TO BEAT BRIGHTON? SEVILLA? HUDDERSFIELD?
COACH a little.

As pointed out on MNF surely this makes it more concerning, yes we seemed to be playing well, a lot of energy, and at least an attempt at entertaining, yet we lost by three.
The fact many were so pleased with how we pressed and attacked at times, was surely because it's been so long since we have seen anything resesmbling this, so Jose was trying something he doesn't do very often, and this just isn't him, he sets teams up and grinds results out, tonight was just odd from a usual Jose game.
He's well out of his comfort zone now, if he goes back to setting up a strong defence, our attack will look horrible, if he goes on the attack our defense will continue to make individual mistakes, it's a mess, and I can't see a way out now.

cool story .....jose outManchester United - Tottenham
Shots attempted: 23 - 9
Shots on target: 5 - 5
Shots off target: 12 - 2
Blocked shots: 6 - 2
Best game of the season if you look away from the scoreline.
It’s definitely concerning. But to me it goes to show these players aren’t what some think they are. Which is why I’m not sure a new manager is the quick fix some think. We sack him now and it transpires players are the problem then we’re starting again. And with what manager? As pointed out on MNF surely this makes it more concerning, yes we seemed to be playing well, a lot of energy, and at least an attempt at entertaining, yet we lost by three.

"Jose, what would you say to someone who shows you disrespect?"What was the question asked?
What was the question asked?
Pogba was good today but again, he tries to do too much when he has 2 or 3 players on him. There was a moment in the first half when he had 2 players on him and instead of making a simple pass to the nearby defender, he tried to shield the ball and gave away a corner in our half.
Luke shaw was very positive today. Crossing is still not on point, but left back looks like the least of our problems right now.
Fred looked tired at around the 75th minute mark. put in a good shift today.
sanchez was decent, but is not being a difference maker currently. Still not bad either.
Valencia, solid. Nothing spectacular.
De gea. If there was any player who should be breaking shit in the dressing room right now, it's him.
lingard was buzzing around. not enough end product though.
Herrera was completely out of position for the second goal. And I hate the habit that all our players have of raising their hands for offside when the ball is still in play. Play till the whistle is blown, men.
The performance was an improvement over the last game. Over to the Burnley game.
It was more watchable but it was still all hectic and chaotic energy. It is not a well coached or structured team, and hasn't been for the majority of his time here.
Haha he would need to bring with him Trippier,Sanchez,Vertonghen and Aldeweireld because that defence is light years better than the one he would inherit!Pochettino came with his job interview suit. Just give him the gig.
Get that portuguese fraud out of here
Why are you screaming?
For the right system, yes we need transfers. A good defense wins you titles.
cool story .....jose out
Were you upset when Jose settled on the likes of Bailly and Lindeloff then? I mean, why go for unproven talent two years ago then all of a sudden want to spend big on 30 year old defenders?
I thought the idea was, when Jose came in...he knew how to coach defenders. We already had the best keeper in football with Jones and Smalling as ok defenders by EPL standards. Rojo was showing signs of being a better CB than he is a LB.
Yet here we aren't into his 3rd season and the defense looks worse than it did two years ago.
And MATIC. He's a pretty good CM...but I'd say his defending is subpar as well. Do we buy another CM because other Jose signing isn't quite good enough. How about Lukaku? Rumors were that he was looking at coming to United prior to Pogba coming here...but until we can confirm that Jukaku is just another Jose signing that isn't quite good enough.
And you want to trust him with more money?
I think Jose thought Lukaku would have the same impact in matches as Drogba had for him with Chelsea. Lukakus big and quite quick but hes nothing like as good, clinical, frightening and effective. The first half chance Kane had he buried, Lukaku needs half a dozen or more. Probably the most disappointing striker we've had since Ted MacDougall.I will say it again and again.
Salah scores that chance and we win the game comfortably. Aguero scores that chance and we win the game comfortably.
Lukaku does not. That's the difference.

Stretford End showed true class tonight. Our fans are phenomenal, absolutely ridiculous

We don't know what's going on behind closed door at OT. There are rumours and counter-rumours, but we don't know for certain. Things are such a mess, it seems to go beyond just one person or position. We have a lot of problems just now.How many more managers are we going to go through before people accept that there is a problem with the way the club is being run? Mourinho's football may be boring but I've no doubt in my mind that he wants to win and that's more than can be said for the people at the top who care more about profits than trophies. We are quickly turning into Arsenal.
That doesn't hold up. We need to spend more $$$ on players? Who on our squad wouldn't start at their position for Brighton, who we lost to. Sevilla had lesser talent...we played like crap. The lowest teams in the premiere league last year beat United at least once. EACH.
Stopping trying to fix the problem by spending when we're already spending. Spending helps you compete but good coaching helps you win.
The guy has had plenty of money to spend. If a manager is not judged by his signings, or by how he improves existing players, what exactly is he to be judged on? Do you honestly think, had we signed Harry Maguire, that we'd have won the last two games?Show me a manager that has gotten every transfer right. Ffs man this isn't football manager.
Matic and Lukaku not good transfers? Are you serious?
Anyone who went to the game can comment on how the atmosphere was, during and after the game?
The fans were great and got behind the team. There wasn't any unpleasant atmosphere or anything of that kind. Only after the first goal went in could you notice a collective air of despondency. I think a lot of us then feared the worst; I know I did. After we went three down the place emptied sharpish, as you'd expect. Credit to Spurs fans too, who really made some noise and enjoyed their night. We stayed until the end, and, to be honest, there weren't many of us left in our section. Very subdued on the way out; I didn't witness much anger, just quiet concern more than anything.Anyone who went to the game can comment on how the atmosphere was, during and after the game?
Exactly, Spurs were nowhere for 45 minutes, but second half once again individual errors cost us. Lukaku missed a sitter and Jones was at fault for Spurs first goal and the second was down to poor defending too. Herrera had a very good first half so I was surprised he was taken off, Smalling had some good moments but, like Jones, Bailly and Lindelof, he cannot be trusted not to fxxk up. If Lukaku had buried one of his chances the result would have been different. Luke Shaw played well too.Gutted to lose like this after that good first half.
The score flattered Spurs, there were nothing special, we gave them the goals.
I guess we can forget any run for title even maybe top 4.
Shaw MOTD again...

This was from BHA. Did he have the same scowl tonight?
