Mostly bobbins. Amad is great though, absolutely criminal Ten Hag didn’t play him more.

Ruud still undefeated.

Have to get top 8 in this league. Don't want to add extra fixtures unnecessarily.

First win in Europe since October last year, I was at that game v Copenhagen and at tonight's match. Must be a lucky charm?

After a dreadful 1st half of football by both sides. A routine comfortable win in the end with Amad catching the headlines. His 2nd goal is everything the new manager will want from all of the players.

Not the worst game. Amad and Casemiro were good, so was Lindelof. Hojlund nowhere to be seen.

Dalot and hojlund shite tonite. Everyone else ok. Mazraoui and amad were great

Up to the lofty heights of 15th in the Europa League! Amad easily man of the match.

No real cohesion or fluidity, but that little quality from individual ability making the difference.

If I wasn't a United fan I'd never watch our games. We're terrible to watch.

Being generous, we played with intent for about half an hour. And we won because Amad wanted it more.

Ticking off the games until Amorim. Surely he cannot send us out looking so toothless and so tepid. Surely..?

Amad had goid game, the rest not so much. This team will struggle to finish top 8 in Europa, even if Amorim is some kind of miracle maker.

Too many bang average players, that also lack desire and heart and with PSR funds low, I am not expecting these players to be anything other than midtable plodders.

Good to hear Amad thinks they were one of the best teams on the pitch tonight. Not getting too far ahead of himself.

Glad to get the job done in the end. Encouraging to see the players returning from injury got some minutes too.

Amad played really well.

2nd half was pretty good imo. We created quite a few chances. Amad definitely the standout. Others a bit hit and miss. Still concerns about Hojlund as our striker tbh (and not just him, don't think we really have anyone reliable to score our goals). A win against Leicester and Ruud will have done a good job. No revolutionary improvement but I was never expecting that anyway. The gap between defence and midfield has definitely narrowed and that's the only major difference really. Nonetheless an important one which I expect to be improved further under Amorim. Not as convinced Amorim will be able to improve our conversion without investment though.

Comfortable game in the end, happy with that. Amad and Mazraoui were standouts. I'm not going to use anything from this game to predict how the rest of our season will go. Ruud isn't looking to implement any new things before leaving, so I can only hope existing tactics can get us over the line vs Leicester.

First half was not good at all. Second was better and Amad clearly MOTM.

I still worry we're not going to score enough goals this season. It's crazy how many times a move breaks down because the players get completely mixed up with each other. Hopefully the new manager and system will help because it's fecking awful at times.

Anyway, positives are the win, and Onana and Amad doing well.

Not totally convinced about Diallo but his determination to win the ball in the lead-up to his second goal was what we need more of.

Amad soooo good! Happy for the lad!

And a win in Europe!

We’re terrible to watch. Amorim has a big job on

Played well for maybe 25 minutes - the entire first half and quite a bit of the second was piss poor from pretty much everyone but Mazraoui.

Glad to see Amad get rewarded for his good work with that second goal.

I still cannot understand why Amad got benched by ETH. I assume Rashford, Bruno and others looks fantastic during training but Amad sucks. Good ridden to ETH else Amad would be on the bench again.

Hard to read much into it, feel like our Europa campaign has had a worse team each week and we struggled for large parts of the game.

Intrigued to see what Amorim brings because it's so disjointed, lot of wasteful players, lots of long hopeful balls, the balance of the forwards seems all over the place.

First half was an absolute bore-fest. Much improved in the second half, and I'm encouraged by Amad's insistence on the ball. Hojlund was terrible, which is a shame, but I'm hoping it's more due to the lack of system we're playing rather than him poor regardless of the system.

Glad for Lindelof and Evans to see out the whole match to give De Ligt a whole night off and Martinez only required for 25 minutes. Also pleased to see Mount come on for a run out.

3 of our 4 remaining Europa games are against teams above us in the table. Including Rangers at Old Trafford in January, who are a distant third in Scotland.

Still a good chance of getting in top 8 if the new coach can get us going. The remaining fixtures....

November 28: Man Utd vs Bodo/Glimt, Old Trafford,
December 12: Viktoria Plzen vs Man Utd, Doosan Arena,
January 23: Man Utd vs Rangers, Old Trafford
January 30: FCSB vs Man Utd, National Arena

A half-decent team wins them all, but on the other hand...
