Very good first half especially with the lack of options. Utterly crap second half.
De Gea greatest keeper in our history.

Outplayed, outclassed and most importantly outworked.

Maguire is a donkey and should never play for us again.

The rest are possible squad players.
Maguire was one of the only players to actually do alright in my opinion.

Not sure quite what he did wrong?

The thing is this is the norm now so don't get riled by the result. Still racked off though.

A complete lack of effort.

The club is fecked under this ownership and they think Poch is the right man for this job?????

You wonder how we manage to make every player who come to us significantly worse then, Nevilie mentions that Nicky Butt was telling him how he coached Anthony Elanga to slow down as he approaches goal. Then gets dispossessed by someone changing back.

Every area of the club seems to be deliberately sabotaging us.

I thought we did well in the first half and it was an even game. Second half they battered us and could have scored as many as they liked. We surrendered when it went 3-1 and allowed them to rip the piss. A huge gulf in class and commitment; it's grim.

Taking our medicine, shame we are still ill 10 years on.

First time we`ve played a top4 team since Ralf took over.

Its a shame it ended like this because the first half had its moments, but the 2nd one is a pure embarrasment. We are nowhere near good enough to compete this season.

Nothing changes until the ownership is changed…. They don’t care about how the team performs just the money…

we continue to rot

Properly spanked in that second half. The subs did absolutely nothing. So many of that team just aren't up to it; no fight no heart no right to be at the club.

United is gone, and has been for ages. Not a single player there is good enough for the title, and its probably gonna get worse before it gets better.

Tragic how far away we are with the money we've spent, we've constructed our squad appallingly.

Okay we're shite, I've accepted that. But can the club reduce ticket prices and bring back pay-at-the-gate?

Schooled.

Absolutely schooled.

Started out as a classic derby and a promising performance until City scored their third. Then it was a familiar complete lack of interest from the players.

I hate that they have that manager
It's utterly inexcusable that he wasn't convinced to come here.
Why can't he fcuk off already

Honestly, result wise, I didn't expect much. As for attitude and general image no much different than what happened at OT against City or Liverpool.

Miracles don't happen overnight, there is much to change in all the areas and it will take time, our turn will come, Guardiola won't retire from football at City.

May as well play the youngsters and see who’s good and who isn’t at this level. Worst that happens we miss out on the Europa League!

Worst half of football I've ever seen from a United team - Rashford and Lingard couldn't give a sh1t !

same old crap - no midfield, calamitous defence. How players like Fred, Scott, Maguire, AWB start for us is tragic. Only positive was Sancho. Lingard and Pogba totally uninterested. Bruno looked like he was trying a bit but nothing came off. Telles is a squad player at best.

Disgraceful performances from Maguire, Wan Bisska, McTominay, Pogba, Lingard today. No pride in the shirt at all. That second half was as hard a watch as I can remember (well since the first half against Liverpool!). I wouldn't give a shit if the lot of them never played for the club again.

We are so bad that we will be shit for another couple of seasons more. Its impossible to challenge within that period considering the level we're coming from.

People were talking about progress when we were drawing and narrowly winning against small teams. This is how bad be have sunk. I didn’t expect anything better today. We are actually lucky they only scored 4, could’ve been worse with their 20+ shots. We had zero shots on target in the second half and overall, our possession was 39%.

i hate to say it, they play very attractive football. We are miles behind them physically, tactically and mentally.

Awful, but not unexpected. The only positive to take away from this is Liverpool being hurt in the title race, but the fact we've sunk to the point of that being a consolation is depressing on its own.

The squad needs a proper cultural reset, and not the shambolic "vibes" one we had under Ole. Squad needs complete gutting, it'll take years but it needs to be done starting this summer. AWB, McTominay and Maguire shouldn't be starting for a midtable side, nevermind us.

This is the true reflection of the gulf in class. Needs to be addressed as seems to be getting wider.

It's going to get a lot worse before it gets better. From top to bottom we are pathetic.

Missed the second half but thought we were still in the game at half time. Wtf happened to us in the second?
