Point more than I thought we would get before kick off, but so frustrating to drop points late on yet again.

Such a shame to see great goals undone again.

For all the hype, Pool once again fluffing their way with a set piece and pen, last time two deflections helped on with the ref.

Would have taken a point before the start but good grief we have players that are thick as mince.

Conflicted.

Given the last 2 games we needed all 3 and they were there for the taking. Gutted that AWB dived in and cost us. Kinda braindead defending in the box, just asking for trouble.

Conversely a draw isn’t a bad result, just disappointing. We could/should have been 9pts out of 9 this week and right in the hunt for top 4. As it is we are still scraping about for a hopeful top 5 finish.

Wan Bissaka showing why he will be gone in the summer. His decision making is horrible.

Front 3 horrific today, Casemiro looking like he can't move and I think Maguires confidence is shot to pieces - he was good in the air though.

Positive - Mainoo, Kambwala and Dalot. Nothing else.

Got more than we deserved out of the match but still disappointed we could not see it out when we took the lead.

Game probably meant little enough to us in terms of league position etc but means a lot to put a spanner in their works.

But in terms of quality we are still so far away from where we should be,

It's not up to Elliot to avoid AWB's challenge. It was stupid and unnecessary.

That’s always going to be given sadly but I’d argue that Elliott had to deliberately engineer the contact with his right foot.

Who else is he going to bring on - who else is even available - besides Antony, Mount, Amrabat? I think he got the subs right.

Amrabat if you have to bring him on should have been for case. This team cannot shut up shop. Should have kept attacking. Take garnacho off but bring on amad.

Maguire was great today. Solid as you like.

Mad game. Seems like that’s the way we want to play now, just open every game up to basketball style and try and out madness teams

Maguire was fecking shit. Chaos in a dung cart.

Take aways from that match.

* Completely baffled by what Onana is being asked to do. We bought him for his passing ability and perhaps settled for a slight offset in shot stopping (compared to DDG) but it appears his instructions are to boot the ball up the pitch where we inevitably lose possession. If he doesn't hoof the ball then he passes to one of our fullbacks who do it for him.

What is the point? The opposition defenders typically beat Hojlund to the ball and they then regain possession...

* Bruno is one of those players who "appears" to make us a better team but actually upsets the balance of the side. It reminds me of the Ruud Van Nistelrooy signing. Unlike Bruno, RVN was a world class player in his position. He scored bag full of goals for us. Set new records and yet in five seasons we only won 1 x PL title and two domestic cups.

The difference is that Bruno has become embedded into our club's tactics where every manager tries to build a team around him. Yes-he will score some goals. Yes-he will get some assists but the chaos he brings to the side is more detrimental than his value to our tactics.

Sigh.. felt the tackle was unnecessary.. but one point more than I would've thought. Really felt we could've hung onto all three points with the momentum.

Getting killed again by late goals, especially frustrating when it's a penalty. Hopefully the draw costs Liverpool the title, at least that will be something to smile about in another dismal season.

Liverpool fans were nowhere near as bad as fans like you when they were shit. It's embarrassing reading comments like this.
Exactly. Bruno scores an epic goal, ran himself into the ground, and gets rated lower than most of the team here. It fulfills a bizarre need, our players standing in as proxy effigies.

3 bullshit pens in the last 2 games, just great

When will ETH or someone from the club speak up about it?

We've had every 50-50 go against us and almost never get even stonewall pens, ever since that twat Klopp mentioned how we "get so many penalties" under Ole a few years ago

Ever since then these cnuts get everything, especially after the Spurs game blunder in September

It was a lazy/tired challenge from a defender at the end of the match. The same with Dalot's one against Chelsea. Absolutely unnecessary.

Genuinely great to have done our bit in disrupting their season. They thought it'd be a mauling (so did most of us), but instead, we've spoiled the celebratory state they were in when looking towards both fixtures.

What the hell is with our clearances ? Most of them are just so brain-dead passes

At one stage it was like a team of drunks who could barely manage to kick the ball nevermind pass it with any purpose or accuracy. I think it is a mentality thing , our heads go to mush in pressure situations.

Literally the only positive we have to take away from this season in terms of results

Penalty looked soft? He didn’t really touch him from the replays I can see.

Hard to believe this was two points dropped considering how likely a 1-7 looked ahead of time, but here we are. They should have absolutely rolled us over in the first half, and after we got the lead we should have held on to it.

Once again Ten Hag's game management is suspect (Casemiro seemingly undroppable despite being shit for a year now, Amrabat offering absolutely nothing an in fact being an active detriment when brought on) and I swear to god this team doesn't have two braincells between the lot of them. What an absolutely brain dead penalty to give away. Yeah, the guy went down easily, but a wild lunge in the penalty box is never going to end up as anything other than a penalty.

That’s a bad angle. From a slightly behind angle you can see AWB was nowhere near the ball and clipped him. The previous 2 were bullshit calls, but this was a fair penalty.

Did Klopp just say we always put an extra hard shift in against them than others? Aw diddums. We aren't Everton you tool.

Flattering result. It could easily have been another 5-0 rout for the visitors.

Bruno’s 50 yard goal didn’t bring a smile to your face?

We have another star in the making in Willy Kambwala!
He surprised me, and I think he was one of our best today. Before the game I did not rate him very high and saw a future for him in the championship, so I was really surprised by this perfomance.

Disappointing to concede like that. Think a draw was a fair result but Elliott had knocked the ball to one side and chose to dive over an immobile player. It's a very iffy penalty and if we'd been given it, there would be uproar from Klopp and the mass media.

Yes, it was a mistake from AWB, but deciding a game like that leaves a sour taste in the mouth. He basically just flopped over a static player after he's passed the ball.

Stupid tackle from AWB lost us two points.

Alas, I didn't think we would get anything out of the match anyway. A point and ruining Liverpool title charge is a decent result.
