But over time those things add up and will make a different. Yeah over one game perhaps the goal count was similar. But over the course of a season the more touches a team has in the box the more likely it will be they score goals, or at the very least have high quality chances to put in the back of the net.

This is one the saddest things I heard someone say in relation to football, it doesn't even make sense as well.

More chances = higher possibility of scoring a goal (s), creating so few chances and winning games is not sustainable and won't ever win you the league.
