I honestly don't know what to say after that performance. Our attack lacks so much creativity. We try to play it through the middle, despite lacking that player that can really dominate and unlock a defence. Our wingers are far too inconsistent - well, winger, because we only ever have one on the left hand side. On the right there's just a gaping hole where a winger should be - and our crossing, which is probably our best weapon, is erratic to say the least.

I know it sounds like a knee jerk reaction, but we're not going to be challenging for the league this year. There are far too many problems in this squad.

We are missing a genuine couple of wingers in the squad for precisely these types of games like a Zaha etc.

The reason we make errors is Mou took our form away with the way we played the Liverpool game. With that game everything we got before, was gone. Players out of form make errors. And not good enough players like most of the team today.

Unfortunate defensive errors for their 2 goals but 78% possession with 3 shots on target is bit of a shite performance against a bottom of the table team.

Lingard is a complete fraud. Herrera looks like he has no confidence to make one forward pass. Mkhitaryan and Mata have been poor. Young and Valencia should probably retire. Lindelof should improve massively.

Pathetic display by our players. Can't get worse than this. Can it?

We obviously got carried away by some good scorelines earlier in the season. We thought (me included obviously) that the team was actually better than it is. It is better than what it showed today obviously but will it win the league ? Nah. 2nd or 3rd will be progress I suppose.

I think realistically this is what we should be looking for, signs of improvement from last season and a comfortable top 4 finish would be decent, the start we had made us dream of maintaining a title push but I think it's still beyond this team at the moment. There's still a long way to go and maybe City will fall away again like last season but I think failing to strengthen wide positions (at least one full back and a winger) leaves us short in quality, especially when Pogba is missing from that central position.

Only watched the first 20 minutes bot didn't think we looked good at all even then. We were always going to lose a game at some point but I'm shocked that it was today against Huddersfield. I think losing Jones and replacing him with Lindelof was a big turning point, Lindelof has been so poor for us so far and it would have been a safer move to replace him with Blind because Smalling/Blind was a proven partnership. Otherwise it sounds like the others were poor as well.

It's a reality check and our injury problems couldn't come at a worse time with Tottenham next week. Hope for a better result next week and tbf I couldn't care about Swansea game midweek.
