also i loved this moment , dont think anyone mentioned it yet on the thread. Thats the 'i own you' look. Cas is one of those players that you are glad is on your team and not on the other team, Liverpool fans would know all about this with him I think.

Yeah, Casemiro is class. Wonder what Gavi said there to him. Can't be very friendly.. Only saw him play a couple of times but already dislike this little prick a lot.

Who'd have thought this time last year, we'd be pissed off with a draw at Barcelona? Really should have won it: I think our chances were more clear cut than theirs and we gave them both their goals - DDG in no man's land for the first, leaving the post wide open, and we gave the ball away twice in build-up to second.

I don't think we should presume a win will be straightforward next week - my guess is the winners will be the ones who do some actual defending!

Casemiro was bloody brilliant until he was one of those giving the ball away for their second goal. Rashford was good and Fred very good in the second half, apart from falling asleep for their first goal. I would he like Garnacho to have got 10 minutes longer. AWB was awful and I think we'd have been better off with Shaw at fullback and Lindelof alongside Varane, who was also excellent (pretty much as usual). Will be good to have Martinez back for the second leg

It was great.

However it wouldve been a lot greater if he hadn’t given the ball away for their goal about 3 minutes later

Totally agree with everything you said. Im super happy about our team and progress. I think we were dominated for like the first 20 minutes but we fought back strongly and immediatly scored after they did which, for me , is a huge indicator for good team spirit. It was an awesome match to watch even for neutral fans. I think we had the better chances overall but were lucky at the end as well. To me that fred handball was a pen. Very happy with the team and its a good and fair result. I'm confident for the second leg.

I thought it was a good performance, away from home is tough even more at camp nou.

That kid Gavi is a horrible player he's out for return leg, feck annoying git . If we play like that at home and take our chances we go through.

Great match. Maybe the best matched I've watched all season including the WC. There was quality from both sides, passionate play, lots of attacking, great GK plays, and lots of tactical management. This should have been the final in the EL.

- If the foul on Rashford had been called just outside the box, would it have been a red because he was the last defender?
- Rashford is so fun to watch right now.
- Weghorst did okay as the AM, I hope he doesn't start when Antony comes back though.
- I think DG should have come out for the first goal.

I think Casemiro and DeJong would be a great midfield pair. I can just imagine the nice interplay between them. Then add a mature Diallo and our midfield would be something.

We miss Eriksen.

Sancho. What the feck. Huge Sancho supporter, delighted when we got him, but he’s fecking shite.Garnacho so much better.

Fred. Typical game for him. Bad passes, poor positioning. Then gives the thru ball for Rashford. Incredibly frustrating player
