Gaming Pokémon Strumfest

I think they were usually $10 in the US, so expecting a similar amount converted to £ for this.

Yeah, curries are massive in the UK. My only question was where are all these people who are putting sausages in their curry?! Surely if Game Freak have come and done some research travelling the UK they'd have picked the most common things to put in the games.
Decent price then if true.

Seems they're going for a wide range of curry types. Hadn't heard of toast on curry either until the trailer.

The football theme is the big thing in the UK tbf.

I’m just happy that Mrs Potts from Beauty and the Beast has found work

Sirfetch'd a Sword exclusive.

Which game is your favourite? I’m stuck for three months with no console or pc and just a chromebook so having to try and find a way to play a game of some sort and found that you can play most of the Pokemon games online.

Which are your favourites? I haven’t played them all so open to suggestions. Started with Fire Red last night.

I loved X. To be fair, there haven't been any that I've really disliked, but that one was my favourite.

Not long ago I went through all the generations again, just to catch myself up. You're probably better off with Fire Red than the original Red, because that one feels very basic now, even just compared to Gold and Silver.

But yeah, X/Y are my favourites.

Yeah I went with Fire Red because this emulator doesn't allow you to speed the game up so Red would be a huge slog. Cheers, I don't think i played X so will get on it!

Yellow, Gold and Pearl are my favourites. Let's Go is my favourite of the ones from the last ten years, not that you can emulate that though (I don't think).

Edit: Feck I forgot HeartGold.

Black and white are the best 100% despite having the worst starters.

Did they ever announce if you could trade the pokemon onto this game in the end?
How do you mean? Normal trading and a new form of wonder trades are in the game, not all pokemon are in the game so if you have any in your poke bank that aren't in the game you can't trade to them, no, also you'll have to wait until Pokemon Home is out before trading from bank into Sword and Sheild.

Forgot those, good shout!

Oh! Hidden abilities too... Sheer Force Nidoking.
Yeah, there's loads of mechanics that most casual players would be unaware of. Even other little things with breeding like ball inheritance, everstone to pass on nature, destiny knot to pass on 5 IVs from the parents...

I've been spending too much time on ResetEra trying to get news of SwSh. The other day they had a full blown discussion on Attract and how it should be applicable to every pokemon rather than those of the opposite sex (which would take the whole strategy component of that move out of the game). There was then someone suggesting there should be gay pokemon with a special symbol.

Jesus feck...

Yep

Yep

Yep

When you say "caught up", I know that they are a thing and know a basic outline of them. I still have like, 6 missed generations of deep dive shit that I have 3 weeks to catch up on properly

BTW Sobble starter FTW.
To be honest, they're not entirely worth fussing about outside of competitive play, as the main games generally are easy. It can be fun to kerb stomp everyone though.

ResetEra is insane man, I kind of hate it and love it at the same time.
