Bagon community day today at 3-6pm local time
They fecked up community day for my time zone.
It was lagging real bad with Bagon hardly spawning the first 2 hours. They extended the event for 2 hours but exclusive move ended before the extended event .

On a side note, Bagon's shiny rate seems to be much higher, I got a few decent shinies this time round.

I'd probably be what you're referring to. My account was made on 7/7/2016. I played a bit up to level 9 then didn't bother playing at all for the past two years.
Installed it again after that post of yours and have gone up to level 10 checking things out including the quests and stuff. Had 1 gift that I got from a Pokestop, so I went to this link:
and added one person (rest of them said requests were full or whatever). The person added said in the description thingy they'd return gifts yada yada. They were level 40, had over 45,000 Pokemon caught and as soon as they accepted my request I sent the one gift I had. Two hours later the bastard removed me from their list so now I'm back to zero with the little trust I had in people reduced to nothing which sucks as from what I've gathered the gifting thing is a good way of getting XP and stuff.
I did hatch a 90% Munchlax and caught a 90% Tentacruel so that is a start I suppose.
Given your level, the lvl 40 might have assumed you'd lose interest after a few weeks. The big XP gains come from going best friends after 90 days worth of exchanging. Add me if you want to get back into it. I can exchange gifts pretty much daily - 2646 3542 6095
Also re the gamepress link, if you can be arsed making an account and making a post, you get like 50 people add you within 24 hrs. You'll level up in no time.
Dont take it to heart Damo, gifts are very common when you spin pokestops and most people will return gifts each day if you send. You get the odd few people who stop playing so obviously stop sending gifts too.
If you arent getting tons of gifts to send I'd recommend just adding a handful of people so you can send them regularly and increase your friendship levels. It's a waste of time having 30 friends and only being able to send them gifts once each per month. Unless you just want to receive a ton and not send any that is
That is a decent point. I do have a couple of Pokestops near me and walk the dog daily so if I spin them 8 times a day I should get a few gifts.
Thanks, will add. Mine is 7693 1176 7490. Might save the gamepress stuff for when I get more supplies as no point in having shitloads of people if you can't give gifts to all.
Edit: up to 4 friends. Happy to have more, however no guarantee of having enough gifts to give out and don't want to disappoint. Went to 10 stops so far today and got just the one gift.

I kind of fell out with this game earlier this year and have played significantly less for a while now. So much so, that I didn't even do an Origin Forme Giratina or catch a shiny Bagon on the last Community Day... I feel like the game is currently just about waiting for the next shiny to hunt or legendary to catch and that has made it lose what little charm it had left. However, I'm not sure what else they can do and I personally wouldn't be ready for Gen 5 yet either. I've started playing en route to work more in the last day or so and managed four shiny Diglett already... Pretty crazy.
I just can't seem to find the enthusiasm to go out for a day purely to play this now. I used to at least do Community Day in the city centre and make a day of it to do the current Raid Boss etc, but I find it hard to even bother now.

Been looking for a ditto for about a year now, starting to get a bit pissed off with it.
They're usually disguised as something else. When you catch something it has a chance to reveal itself as a ditto.
Oh, i know i have been catching everything i see but have had no luck. I don't really play it much anymore to be honest.
I got my second one today from a sentret. Annoying as there's a step in one of the special researches that I haven't reached which requires a ditto to be caught (guessing that is why you're trying to find one?)
Yeah that's why i am after one, i did the exact same before i got to this research task i was finding ditto's every week.
Whatever you do, don't evolve a magikarp yet either.
No worries on that front - 400 candies! I only have 19. Annoying that both the Meltan and Mew quests require Dittos. I was already on the right step on the Meltan quest so no worries there but it comes a bit later on the Mew one. Looking at the Meltan quest, I've got no idea how long it'll take to do the last four steps. I rarely see any of the pokemon mentioned where I live.
